This is the  OKI DOKI FARM thread progress to continue the original from the recent now old forum. 
I will be collecting info from the old and will add some of the old progress in this one but as first I will intro the current status of O.D.
O.D. FARM still in his O.D. FARM solo clan MECH CHUNKS FARM. Later or soon will join a clan that make sense for it and progress divine with future relics. 😘
It is doing awesome in clan position. Position 1 nah, much better 8,158🤣

Hmm...I will just say that this game is not to make the same exact build in each element. That would be boring.  You have to be creative.  What you are stating is like why not have every weapon be three types of weaponry. It don't work like that.  We heat builders would like grenade launch, but not gonna happen.  
 
It make sense that energy are over weight weapons.  It dominates in when your opponent looses all energy.  Heat does not do that.  Heat just over heats.  So, you have a chance of cooling and using a weapon. 

Could you please help me (and the other players) by doing a more scientific survey?  Basically, could you fight 40 mechs (not 40 people, but 40 mechs) and record whether each one has or doesn't have a hybrid energy or heat cannon?  And if so, which of those two?  I'd like to get a more robust percentage.
But the heat varieties are heat free, so in this case, I don't think it's being fairly applied.  Second, the energy varieties cost as much heat as the heat varieties cost energy, so both have their downsides.
Third, you cannot easily go energy-free with dual Hot Flash or dual Hybrid Energy Cannon because the modules you don't need to allocate to energy now much be allocated to heat so you can survive the amount of heat you generate and the amount of heat you'd take while fighting a heat mech.  So in this case, being energy free is not without consequences.  A dual Annihilation mech could get away with far less cooling, for example.
Also, about Bulldog, it is not energy free, but is still as heavy as Mercy and Reckoning, which is an example of a rule not being fairly applied.  That's why you hardly ever see anyone using Bulldog: it's horribly inefficient because it's overweight.  See my thread about this.  The solution (on that thread) that I propose is to either make Bulldog lighter or make it energy free.
Basically, in my opinion this is all TactiSoft-era bull krap that we now have a chance to fix. 
Another thing to consider: even if you edit one of the WU config files and make all the energy items in the mech example towards the top identical to all the heat items in terms of heaviness, i.e. you can create a perfect copy of the boiler META into energy, that mech still loses because energy is weak.  So ironically even if suddenly Alexander waved his magic wand and fixed all the energy items exactly the way I am hoping he does, energy would still get its butt beaten by heat. 
So ironically it's hard for me not to think of everyone who says "energy is weak" but then refuses to do anything about it is sort of like someone who watches their friend drown in the ocean but doesn't jump in and swim to help him.  We all know energy is weak.  We all know nerfing combined modules would be very unpopular, and probably a bad idea.  So we're left with buffing energy.  But not many seem to want to do that.
Thankfully the balance team is working on some energy buffs that should help out a bit.

In this thread, I’ll post what I believe to be the best builds in the game (meta builds). Everyone is welcome to post and debate meta builds.
META = Most Effective Tactics Available (i.e. what's the best build in game to help you climb the ladder in arena and have the highest win rate). I've excluded "popular" builds that aren't really "meta." I'm defining meta as the best builds in their respective element and must at a minimum be able to achieve Rank 1 full stars (and preferably have the highest win rate possible).  The "best" builds are of my own opinion from arena testing.

Please be wary, we decided to test this on everyone instead of an AB test group, feedback is welcome. 
Bases currently have a higher gold cap, roughly 10% higher gold income at the higher levels, much cheaper common and quick common cards and more expensive legendary cards with roughly double the droprate of E-M items (we already raised the droprate of L-M items before).
 
This is an experiment and is very very liable to change again in the immediate future. 

So I’m back... again... quit after this new forum replaced the old one, as I now work 5 days a week at Walmart and attend a local community college the other 2 days. Life is busy.. found myself playing during lunch the other day, so yeah...
also, have they figured out how to do private lounges or anything for clans?
 
And what has become of BTB? I see a few still remain in the alt clan I made until our previous issue is resolved... 
 

So the old forums are actually gone, huh... I thought that it was a joke when I first heard of it on Discord but now that I see that it's real... I might as well say that I'm really gonna miss the old days I had on those forums, sentimental value and what not. So, here I go...
The old forums was where I managed to connect to a side of SuperMechs that I wouldn't have seen without it. I managed to find a place where I could chat, voice my opinions/ideas, help others, and find ways to keep on improving myself. Yes, the new forums is capable of serving those exact same purposes... But it doesn't feel the same. Sentimental value, I suppose.
Back when I first started using the forums, I was a rank 15 that was struggling to lift my feet to carry myself beyond my old limits of rank 12... But with the help and friends that I've gotten from the forums, I finally gained a foothold and some traction over which direction I was heading. I surpassed rank 11... Then 10... Then 9... And now here I am, a rank 8 who made it to rank 7 with a heat + physical lineup.
I honestly never thought that I would make it this far because of how I had no one to guide me but now I can look back at the past and see how far I've managed to get because of everyone in the forums and everyone in Immortal Blades, giving me new ideas and useful tips that have gotten me to this point and will likely push me to rank 5 down the line. For now, though, I'll settle with rank 7 as it's the furthest milestone that I can achieve as of right now.
But... Back to the point... I'll miss the old forums and the times that I had with it. It basically made me into the pilot that I am today...
And to Tactisoft, even though this game has been a bumpy hellhole of a ride... It's been pretty fun as well. So... Instead of the usual finger that I stick up whenever fortune boxes drop rares or when RnG gets the best of me and gives me a loss, I'ma say thanks because even when newly baked Tactisoft-grade premiums end up causing hell for me in arena, you have also built me up from something simple and into something great... Besides, the game has usually been like this, so another round isn't all that new.
With that out of the way... I'ma end this post here with a final note... Though, to make it easier on everyone reading this, I'll place the note in a topic of its own.
 
For now, I wish all pilots a good day and good luck with their season rewards...

Context: I have already paid most of my condolences for the old forums through the "Old Forums has Fallen" post by Zylok, so this is the special thing that I mentioned that I would put into a topic of its own in order to make the text wall there a bit easier to read.
In the image, my mechs of current time and of time's past are shown in chronological order (Mech 1 to 3: Whiteout / Mech 4: Shadeski / Mech 5 to 6: Avenger). Though, only the mechs of my reloaded main accounts are shown as my legacy mechs can't be reconstructed through Workshop Unlimited.
As for the Tactisoft ideal, I honestly don't like Tactisoft in regards to game management and all that... But in regards to the forums, they did a pretty nice job with making a forum that was multi-functional... Though, yes, it did have flaws but for the most part, it was still alright.

Strangely, I always see people asking for energy-free drones. In the years I’ve been reading the forum, I never saw Tacticsoft submit to those ideas.
As it is, energy mechs are always bombarded by more and more energy-free weapons. Adding a physical energy-free drone, would destroy energy mechs.
It’d be an icing on the cake before blowing the last wish on energy mechs. 🎂
