I always wondered why my profile views are so high. Lol, I thought people wanted to look at my profile. But after looking at the forum thru my phone, I realized it’s way too easy to select people’s profiles accidentally instead of the topic’s title. I found that incredibly annoying. Well, that mystery is solved now.
Now I’m wondering why the forum lags on my PC, hence the reason why I’m even looking at the forum thru my phone. This was never the case on the old forum. There was no lag there.

It could have easily gotten rank 1 a few months back but now after the fortresses and the balance update 
I doubt this can maintain rank 1 for a long time

Te lo digo como usuario habitual de Free Energy Heat.
Buena resistencia, pero bajo nivel de enfriamiento. Es preferible que bajes un poco el calor máximo y establezcas un nivel superior a 300 de refrigeración.
Sé que te encantan tus resistencias, pero pondrías una multi para tener más espacio para mejorar tu nivel de enfriamiento y tu HP.
Debilidades:
* Piernas que avanzan 2 lugares, no podrás hacer nada con los mechs que disparan desde lejos (que son muchos ahora en el juego).
* Bajo nivel de enfriamiento (ya te lo dije).
* Problemas con Magma que solo tiene 1 uso. Sustituiría el dolor por uno de los magmas.
Este es mi calor de energía libre. Tengo el mismo problema que tú con piernas que van 2 lugares. Pero quité el drenaje de resistencia para mejorar el nivel de calor y fue mejor para mí.

Well zark was the best E-M torso before they buffed windigo (which was unnecessary since it was almost as strong as zark, A lightweight zark with less heat and more en)

Its still pretty good, I use it on my second mech but again...zark stands no chance in arena after the balance changes

I would like to object. Archimonde indeed needs a buff. On paper, it has some really solid stats, especially for rounded mech standards. However, its hit points is far too low given how weighty it is. Which is why nobody uses it, very heavy and little HP. Either way, both HSA and Archimonde are horrible torsos, imo anyway. But I would far rather use HSA over the torso in question. 
Best thing to do is just give it some bump with its hit points. 🙂

A wet noodle would be more useful than Desert Fury with current stats. The noodle is useful and can be eaten. 😂

I agree, it desperately needs a buff. It is completely useless at higher ranks as of now. Most high rank player (playing a monkey) have minimum 2.8k hp, and 89 heat resistance. Supposing you have an active drone, per say flame spear, and you always hit maximum damage, with no movement whatsoever, and your drone is always in range; the following scenario would occur:
Turn 1:
 
 
Activate Drone: 240 damage
HP of opponent, starts at 3k: is now 2.76k
Res is now 82
Your heat is now: 50
Opponent heat is now: 68
 
Turn 2:
 
Dual Deso activation, and drone hits:
301+311+267=879
Hp is now: 1881
Res is now 55
Your heat is now: 212
Opponent heat is now: 254
 
Turn 3: 
 
Dual deso activation, and drone hits:
328+338+294=960
Hp is now:921
Res is now: 28
Your heat is now: 370
Opponent heat is now: 440
 
Turn 4:
 
Dual deso activation (last uses), and drone hits:
355+365+321=1041
Opponent is now dead (-121 hp)
Res is 1
 
So in the best possible scenario with the highest damage dealing heat drone, with no movement, full usage, no overheating on your part, and maximum hits at all times, and an opponent with relatively low health and low resistance (if they use a fortress will be higher), the dual deso player barely manages to kill him off. A 15% percent damage increase is rather small.l I think it would need a 25% damage increase, but no heat generation increase. Because the heat generation is a side effect, and is useful to make your opponent skip 1-2 turns each match, giving you the damage edge you need.
The main difference between spartan and deso is the resistance drainage, which makes spartan a lot stronger. However a small weioght increase would also be ideal.

Subject of the day is my beloved desolation.
Desolation is the only epic tier energy free heat weapon. Dual desolation builds are very accessible and can accomodate variants going from very f2p to hard p2w. Very evolutive.
Thid used to be the bread and butter of any access damage oriented heat player.
We see less and less claws (range denial of those was one of the approaches to properly use desolation), more and more high HP and resistances, desolation became somehow obsolete.
I propose a rework of this weapon.
- add 15% damage
- add 20% heat generation

I'm Joe, so call me that here in this forum or Silver.  I prefer Joe, short for Joseph.  You all know me. I left the game two weeks ago, yet never really left the TS forums.  I was basically checking stuff out and scanning stuff there.  I like to read up on what goes on here, since I was more addicted to TS, rather than play SM.  I like to keep in touch with everyone I know here.   If you don't know who I was in the old forum, there is already a clue here.  Seems many already know, especially @rc1 and many others, I believe.   Though, I will still lay on the down low.
