    The phys would be decisively stronger with stone feet, the heat also needs lava feet, and overall it is rather weak to energy, also, u fr got 2 l-m storage units?

    Hello fellow mech pilots!
    As you all know the grind can be a lot in the game and therefore I would like to a range of topics over the next few weeks to create suggestions to improve this. Please keep in mind these suggestions are only my own opinion and not that of Gato Games. Of course if you also have suggestions please feel free to make them below but please keep on topic! Each of these threads will be dedicated to a certain area to ensure the discussion is focussed on a key area. If your point is not to do with the key area then feel free to make your own thread!
     
    Item Limit
    The item limit was added as we moved to reloaded and hit a lot of players hard. It has never been liked and has even ruined some accounts due to having tens of thousands of items. 
    Now that we have gotten used to the item limit it does have some large negatives:
    In a game that certain items are hard to find it forces you to chuck away the ones you do have.  To boost up items you have to do multiple iterations of buying - boosting - even when you have the money to do so. You can only buy 5 slots at a time and the cost increases every time.  Forces pilots to hoard boxes unable to open them due to a full inventory and may not have the time/money to boost.  But it also has some positives:
    Loading your inventory takes less time. New players are forced to learn about boosting.  
    Overall I feel the item limit is just too restrictive when it doesn't need to be. I also expect the server work from a few extra item slots would not be a massive impact to the game. Therefore I would like to recommend the following changes to reduce this impact:
    Change inventory increase size from 5 to 25 in terms of slot size. Change inventory cost from to be half the current cost per 5 slots.  Add an inventory limit of X spaces (suggested 1000). Anyone that reaches above this due to the above changes would get premium boxes equating to the amount of reds you would be owed.  Give players an extra 50 slots per 50 levels. (50, 100, 150, 200, 250)

    How long since u played the game and forgot that energy currently sucks as* and needs serious help and emp does 400 dmg and drone would be extremely useful

    Well, energy currently sucks, or at least, compared to the other elements, it is too weak. 
    After seeing SawzAll's idea, I thought, great, although I found it a great but impossible idea, it was a start. 
    Many people have ideas, but few are willing to make threads about them.
    So: here's a thread where you can post your ideas:
    Just write damage, energy damage, costs, other important things (movement, backfire, etc.) and weight if you want
     
    To start it off:
    Drone:
    111-194 dmg
    227 eng drain
    177 eng cost
    0 heat cost
    0 backfire
    0 movement
    infinite uses
    infinite range
    weight: tbd, I would say around the same as all other drones
     
    So, basically a mini emp on a drone
    Now hear me out, it would be very strong against heat and phys, yes, but it would be balanced against energy, and isn't that exactly what we need, a drone that can counter heat or phys, whilst still requiring you to equip appropriate modules, and is balanced vs energy, anyways feel free to comment, I won't make a poll since it's confusing.
    Now, a reminder, you are welcome to reply to other's ideas, or to post your own.
    Let's hope to get to some decent items to buff eng.
    Item Idea 2:
    Meant to try and attempt to make energy huggers more viable.
    Grim Rain
    2 Pull
    2 Uses
    81 eng cost
    30 heat cost
    187 eng drain
    19 regen drain
    top weapon
     
    Meant to combo with either storm weaver, bright roar or upc
    Would make upc and stormweaver usable, whilst not being too op
    I cna understand if you do not want all items to be created in other elements, but I think, since this is among the most used heat weapons eng might need it too.

    @WarrMachine I get that thats how the system works, but at lower ranks people can maybe max a few items, and per say I might be running a rounded build, and end up fighting a person with a weapon like that, who doesn't progress, because their builds are bad. In general, making a weapon that is a gateway to higher ranks is wrong and unbalanced.
    Here is my question? Do you consider it fair to make an item that is a gateway to higher ranks, if yes, be my guest, if not, then rework this item please, I'd rather have it as an L-M at least, and with only 70 regen damage, to justify it's being too strong. Otherwise, give it 46 regen damage, make it useless at top ranks and be done with it.
    Also, Sawz, an interesting proposition for u, try to listen to what others say, even if it isn't what you want to hear.

    That's why this weapon, to put it frankly, cannot work for both higher and lower ranks. If it does get released it will destroy the lower rank meta, or be insignificant at top ranks, and due to this, I believe it a complete waste to release such an item, when we could focus on making viable energy weapons.

    Casual reminder for @Alexander to finally explain how the Prenium Packs drop rate works and why it's such a taboo to show out the drop rates from boxes like golden boxes from Legacy , it's already March 2021 .

    Energy no need such thing. Energy and heat works in different ways, if heat can waste a turn for make enemy more  vurneble, energy have each turn on count, because energy break isnt end of life, isntead of shutdown. Battles to short for make any advantage from energy regen break, because or you just die in moment  when you finally achieve energy break or just kill enemy before.

    To be put simply: Make it viable for top ranks makes it unfair for lower ranks, and making it viable for low ranks makes it useless to high ranks.
    Item would have to be so perfectly balanced for both and even then I think it fails at top ranks.
