I have an idea for a new mode of play in this game that would require a complete change of tactics and build.
So far, arena favors mass damage because you have one chance to beat your enemy.
RAID favors single use heat bombs to be able to overpower your enemies.
Campaigns, as they are now, favor resistance and limited use items because you get your uses back with each enemy.
    What about survival mode?
Basically this mode would be like a campaign mission but it would be one mech on a 3x3 square.
When you beat the first mech (think 1v1 first mission on normal), it immediately spawns another in-game.
The enemies get harder as you go.
Your rewards are based off of how many waves of enemies you successfully kill.
This would be different because mechs with limited use items would die quickly once they run out of shots.
It might even be best for F2Ps because lots of non-premium items are unlimited use.
It would require a different kind of mech build than the arena or raid.
So say I defeat 10 enemies, my rewards are based off that.  One can play survival mode once a day.
This would provide another source of game reward.  You wouldn't be competing against other people, really, but against yourself, seeing how many waves you can beat.
With this also comes the "best survival mode score of the week" where the player with the highest number of waves that week would get honorable mention and a specific reward.
    What do you think?

Yeah I'm testing that config.  Since that fight I myth'd the other D.A.D. and upgraded the Sacrifice Cannon to legendary.

P2W players actually do put in a lot of time in the game mostly, otherwise their money would just go to waste.
And if the P2W players reach high ranks they need to actively play to keep their rank and keep on getting good arena boxes. They even have to satisfy the requirements of the clan they're in (if it's a top clan that is).

I would only upgrade one factory to level 15.
Then any improvements I do would be to base and gold mines, because gold.
In my experience I only need one factory to be able to make PKUs and the rest can build common items.  Seems the most efficient way to me.  I might be wrong, but this is how I do it.
I felt like above level 17 was too expensive for me, so I stopped there with my base and gold mines.
The only reason now that I would upgrade base to level 20 is just to get one more factory, but even then, only if I happened to come across a ton of gold.  Currently I'm working on a major overhaul to my physical mech so the odds that this will happen are basically zero.

Alex only communicates when it suits him. He only solves what he wants. I told him a lot of relevant things but he coughed it up. The whole appeal is one scam. When I wrote to him that he could return my account before the lucky patcher period, he coughed it up. He can't understand with his brain that I'm not a hacker who hasn't used a single dollar to succeed. I even sent him a communication with Sarah, where I dealt with cheating and informed Sarah that I had figured out how to do it. I showed him all this, but he didn't solve it. And don't get me wrong, he now relies only on the players' reporting to each other, because he can't find out, as with the Lucky patcher (who left a trail), that someone multitabged just by opening each reported account. I'm just asking when Alex doesn't know how I came to the money, how I came to the relics, so how can he decide? That's why I laugh at his reports on how people should appeal ... LOL

SawzAll got a reaction from Fordekash in Poll: the value of resistance.
How much of a mathematical factor do you think resistance has in this game compared to hit points?
Like if we were going to do math where sum of all resistance values of a torso X this number + hit points = total score.
I had once proposed 4.7 since this is the average # turns in a match (per mech).
A rank 1 player I once spoke with said 10.
When I adjusted my spreadsheet to 7, the vests scored higher than the monkey torsos.
I know math isn't perfect and this is "on paper," etc.  I know the limitations of spreadsheets.  I'm just asking for your opinion: how high a "weight" should I give, mathematically, to resistance?
So I created the best poll I could.
Attached is a reference file that may help someone conceptualize what I'm talking about.
EDIT: I made the spreadsheet simpler and easy to use.  Change values in the red box and then sort.
The normal score is one that I use that's hit points + resistance x value + heat and energy stats because that can impact build.
The "Simpler" score column is just hit points and resistance x weighted value.
    Enjoy.

SawzAll reacted to WarrMachine in Poll: the value of resistance.
This is a difficult question to answer, as the utility a player gains from resistance can vary greatly depending on factors such as mech type (phys speeds up battles, heat slows them down) and season (1v1 fast, 3v3 slow). What I think you should be using is approximately how many times each player's mech (important: singular!) takes damage in battle on average. This is equivalent to how many times resistance affects a match, after all.

This means factoring in every drone, weapon, and special item hit. If I were you I'd do some testing with varying sample sizes, but equal amounts of each mech type to alleviate one of the problems I've listed above. Although without any replay sampling, I'd estimate the value to be somewhere around 15-18. Like I said it's a difficult thing to accurately measure, but I think you can get pretty close. Best of luck.

That's overbuffing it. It'll be better than monkeys. Keep in mind that it's a E-M torso, so it can't be better than premiums. Buffing it to be a good torso is fine, but overbuffing it is not.

SawzAll got a reaction from Tirreggregars in Buff Bulldog: make energy free, even if we must increase weight.
Yeah, because we wouldn't want someone to have an energy version of the Clever Jumper mech and dominate the top 10, now, would we? 🙂
I already said in the original post that I think nerfing the others is a bad idea.  You seemed to propose that we could instead nerf the other two, so I was going by what you said.
I don't see how Bulldog should be the only one that is not energy free.  It's unfair.
So if that means all three of them need to be adjusted so that they are more or less equal (or as equal as they possibly can be) then that's fine too.
There are two problems, as I see it.  One, Bulldog is not energy free but it's super heavy like the other two, making it basically irrelevant.  Two, there are too many energy-free weapons.
So my proposal was to at least make things more or less equal by making Bulldog energy-free, despite not liking that option, because it's better than the alternative, which is to nerf the other two.
I could generate stats that would make Bulldog powerful enough to be worth using, but still, it would leave the game with a glaring problem: the "side staplers" aren't the same as a general concept.
But nerfing the other two (your idea, not mine) would at least fix the glaring problem with having too many energy-free weapons.
If you think Bulldog would be fixed by doing something different, please create a thread and explain your proposal and see if people vote for it.  I'm not the only person who has ideas, and people might like your idea better.
But still, the problem is Bulldog is as heavy as the other energy-free versions (and that was probably the original proposal, to balance them by making them very heavy) but isn't energy-free.  So its weight would definitely need to be changed.  As it is, Storm Weaver is a better weapon than Bulldog because it's not ridiculously heavy.
