In warfare, when your enemy designs a better counter to your weapon (i.e. combined mods versus EMP), you improve your weapon to compensate.  All of warfare science and warfare technology is ultimately power creep.

Ok, sure, but then why is EMP so heavy if it runs off the mech's energy (costs energy) but Heat Bomb is lighter and doesn't require energy (should be heavier because has "its own batteries")?

Molten Platinum Vest is definitely better.

From my experience, the percentage per/mech is like how much you did to that guy, you need to take the lowest damage while also killing their mechs so its hard to get 100%. You clan score(red arrows) is the sum of how much your clan did to the other clan.(again its only my experience)

I voted Backstabbing Protector due to how it has the damage of Firefly but has an advantage in range versatility to add to its overall effectiveness.
The only thing that holds it back from being good overall and not just quick battles is its backfire cost but other than that, it has good damage output and is a pretty decent weight saver for a drone with 280 max damage (without target resistance influence). 

If this was like 2.5 years ago everyone would vote heatpoint.
I still think its either HeatPoint or Nemo.

The Tree Cannon may look like an overloaded EMP, but it actually shoots out bullets that can instantly turn your opponent's mech into a tree. It is also a great way to recycle old mech parts.

The deals Alex gives us are nearly always a discounted rate on premium packs ... AND on the other items he usually includes (gold, arena coins, quad cores, etc).  It's up to you if you want to wait for them or not.
