I still just testing energy, heat and resistance against top players with those mechs under development. I know it is not the best configuration but I am doing this just making parts but decided to make test with modules to see what really hold. It does good in general to keep R3+ and with hands of serious players can do much better. So far I have tested against many builds against the top 4 clans and I have been able to wreck a lot even your peers and others but still weak. The heat mech it is more reliable but against good players top ones and depend against what mechs can win but also lose been too low in health. The energy mech need a bit of buff on weapons as you mention in your video even I have been building this by logic and default not as copy just to rebalance parts that I do not have developed and still way low in many parts in need for raid, titan etc.
I am playing in the low basic side of health not buffing up to 3.2k and lower energy and heat cap but the lack of divined modules is better to keep it in the way it is. I can reach R1 in all seasons as my test been able to check but still need work. 
Players like you are way to far of me to be able to really damage. Warrmachine do great against me and Invicktus it is another top hard to goes by in your clan and I do like those guys playing.  Sure others and in the others clans but getting  wins when I get focus against. Today testing incomplete mechs in OKI DOKI  for fun hopping to get data for positions and damage so can in the future do play against odds. 
I will finish this in OKI and work then in others parts around for future mechs possibilities. I can't really make meta build as you and others with all max and divine but ok to play and create some damage here and there. 
As you mention, scopes are not meta at this point but I need parts. Will use mechs for basics for R3 in my busy life schedule. Phys versions I had that in mine long ago but never built lacking of  drainers so never developed. 
Well, in general I do have mechs to sustain and play relax for R3. Will take very long to make parts and proper configurations to do better farming. Also, in my style of configuration I still lacking of some modules I need. Sure can be done in different ways and more proper but it is just preferences. Will see. In mean time will be around in the fluctuation up and down and hopping for some parts to get having bad luck in that department. 
My fun is to have fun making parts slowly so all it is cool. 😎

In terms of probability and logic, it is more likely that YOU are a scam.  But then again, that's why I have you on ignore.
The gold portal is not a scam.  With all due respect, if you sit there and click Revive over and over, you are harming only yourself.
No one made you click the gold portal.
No one made you ignore the high damage output of the final mech.
I saw that one coming and did only one revive.  That didn't work, so I gave up.
With a heat bomb I'm sure I could've beaten him, but alas....
With all due respect, this type of lying (i.e. misrepresenting things just because you're upset) is toxic and part of the reason people don't get on the forum enough (although there are also other reasons).
Instead of "the gold portal is a scam" you could have also decided to think, "well maybe I'm just not ready for the insane mode yet."
And you also conveniently ignored the fact that the rewards for this portal are basically twice what normal gold portals are.
I'm not having a single problem walking away with like 110 tokens on this thing, not to mention the gold.
With all due respect, do you think of EVERYTHING that you don't like as being a scam?

This is way better than the old gold portals, those were far fewer tokens, and I don't mind a challenge.
I may have missed the last couple gold portals but the tokens were very high.  Like 120 tokens?  I stacked phys resist and hps and used ranged energy with an EMP and won. (1 revive, didn't get health kits).
I did the same thing with energy swords with a different build - stack phys and resists and won but was lucky enough to get healthkit.
I lost my first run at the boss though and had to rebuilt my campaign mech because the boss battle was clearly much harder than the rest of the level if not prepared for it.
Don't forget you can exit and re-enter the fight to be at range 3 or 1 and not have to tank a hit from that mighty cannon.

No one told you to clear insane. Normal alone is 50 tokens, already more than all 3 difficulties of a Tacticsoft gold portal. If you can do a higher difficulty that's great, but no one's forcing you to waste your tokens on revives.

The portal is very worth it, stop looking for reasons to be angry at the game. Multiple people completed it on insane are satisfied.

Completing normal already gives you more tokens than you would get from a TacticSoft portal if you completed the 3 difficulties, so your argument about portals being ruined doesn't even makes sense Wep..

It's even funny due to the fact that 3v3 campaign is way harder, doesn't give as many tokens and tends to crash even if you win, which results in a defeat, and nobody is ranting about it! 😄

Well you know wep, just because you failed once during the portal, it doesn't mean that this event is ruined.
I'll say a couple of things.
1. This event is now WAY better thanks to Alexander, you get more tokens from normal difficulty alone than what you did with all 3 difficulties with TS.
2. Even if you spend 110 tokens on revives on insane, you're still at a net positive.
3. Alex reads all, he can and will change it back to 15 tokens/difficulty.
What i'm trying to say is that you should start seeing the bright side of things. On top of that, i think this is extremely ironic coming from you, a top player, with one of the deepest inventories in the game, complaining about the difficulty of a portal.
Personally, i really enjoy the more difficult portals, because it requires: 1, a mech build and 2, actual brains. Before you would just slap your dual frantics and click hurr durr you win 45 tokens in 10mins.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, obviously.
Edit: thought i'd show you guys my mech for this portal, only took 1 revive.

Mech with 2 heat bombs will clear it with no problem.

I mean, i only spent 20 tokens on revives Wep, you might just wanna find a build that works, this is for insane, we have had alex give us harder portals in the past tbh

For my build style, Bobson always beats me. But it's because I don't use legs that go 3 places. The only time I beat him was because I had the legs that goes 3 places. However, even though he always beats me, the reality is that Bobson loses a lot against the high ranks.
PS: I also lose a lot, but it has a lot of logic because I stopped paying more than 1 year ago. It's a miracle that he can still reach rank 1.
