My son saw me playing SM and wanted to try it.  He's rank 18, and fought 4 straight opponents who were all or mostly maxed items.  One had 2200 hp.  That's a disgrace.  If you need to play in "easy" mode, go play Minecraft.  Stop making it miserable for new players to gain advancement.  
Alexander, PLEASE find a way to penalize people who quit battles to keep their rank low.

When doing the special quest, which mission in single mech mode has the most structures?

In the current game, it's the Seraph Blade, but it really wants a backstabber drone to make it go.  But I love heat builds, and I still have an older account that has a firewall legacy item.  Maybe the best distance control item in the game IMHO.

It is these 3 things that give extra power:
Items of the same category (torsos, legs, side weapons, etc...) give a 10% boosting bonus. Items of the same element (Heat, Energy, Physical) give 10% more boost. Powerkits give 10% more boost when upgrading another power kit.

There shouldn't be done anything to them, and just leave them as is.
Legacy weapons only give an advantage in utility, not in damage or anything else.
People who saved their Legacy weapons, or came back to the game later on are lucky for having kept them.
They don't have a real advantage by using Legacy items from rank 10 onwards with the exception of about 5 items.

Mass deflector had 1 range and dealt 5 knockback iirc

Twice this morning. One during an Arena battle, and then again during a Titan battle. The Arena battle, is counted as a loss, and I lose one Titan battle. Thanks alot.

Anyone know?  It's been two months (April 5th) since he gave any info or updates on the forums, and that was a ban wave announcement.  Seems like the game is limping along with no new updates, items, etc.  As long as it works, I'll keep playing, but it's starting to feel like an abandoned game.

I would argue that people smurf for reasons other than the rank 5 limit, even if they try unsuccessfully to blame it on the rank 5 limit.
I didn't decide to smurf after i got locked into rank 5 the first time.
In my own opinion, smurfing is an intentional unethical behavior.  Call it cowardice, pretending to be weak, sadism, delusions of grandeur, being controlling, or whatever you want, it's still intentional and dishonorable.
For example, known smurfs like Dewastator harm the game by annoying or demoralizing people. 
I don't think smurfs can blame their smurfing on the game.  But people who could be rank 5 aren't smurfing as hard as people like Dewastator if they avoid rank 5.  I don't see the "could be rank 5" smurfs as being that serious a problem.
And with how many people hate smurfs, why are we doing something "for" the smurfs?
OH and please (original poster) don't use "make votes public."  I'm not scared to vote, but some might not want to vote if their vote is public.  That way you're more likely to get a better vote result.

I don't think auto-clicking is some sort of ban-able offense.  It's not being used to cheat or have any advantage, just to enable the player's laziness 🙂  
1) This isn't better rewards.  This is automating the same krap you'd be doing.  It's just automated laziness.
2) It's not abusing a bug.  There's no bug here.
3) It's usually a good idea to understand what's being discussed before you begin discussing it.
Good thing I clicked "show this post" so I could defend the person who posted this from being unfairly accused of hacking or exploiting a bug.  It's like you can't block people on this forum because if you do, they will continue to poison other people.
I know what you're saying.  Ignore the people who are accusing you of hacking or whatever, because it's clear they don't understand the subject.

This has always existed and I think is a bit more complex. For the administration it's an easier way to obtain money. While is true that some players quit the game, it encourages others to become payers. If you become a payer, they already caught you, because as you go up in the rank, you find this in all ranks, so if your emotions dominate your reason, you will pay more to face these smurfs.
On the player's side, for the smurf it is the search for easy wins. An initial sacrifice in exchange for wins. Sometimes they are inexperienced players who really lose a lot at the highest ranks.
For the clans, used this with an additional trick, can be very favorable easy wins.
Finally, keep in mind that with this perverse system of lowering 2 ranks at the end of each week, they may be players who have been playing very little for a few weeks ... I dont know if this is maintained in the lower ranks.
Honestly, I don't think the administration would like to penalize smurfing.
It is very difficult to tell when someone is intentionally smurfing. It may be due to problems with the connection and in any case it is a manipulation of Arena, but it isn't really prohibited.
