Guys, I understand. 5 packs, that’s kinda small chances a small reward for a tournament. But we do have to take into consideration this tournament was made for FUN, not all for rewards. Would more rewards be awesome? Yes, it would be, a lot. But if you only want rewards, then you’re looking in the wrong area. Sad, I know, but that’s just how this is working

It was an honour to compete with everyone in the tournament. I really enjoy these forum tournaments. Competing here is different from what we players are used to doing in the game. Personally my participation in all forum tournaments always remains as a memorable in-game experience.
I would like to thank @Pavke @Marija and everyone else who contributed to the organisation of this event. I strongly support the continuation of such tournaments. I really appreciated getting the chance to participate as not did i only have fun but I also managed to walk away with a significant amount of tokens as prize, which will undoubtedly boost my progress in the game, especially since i am not very active due to studying.
Now about my victory...I will be honest here, There were actually other players too who had the potential to reach the position i reached. My opponent in the final , @ahmadBX was competing in a forum tournament for the first time and he made it that far, -with non maxed arena buffs i will add- . I ve made it to the finals in previous tournaments but its the first time i walk away as a winner. I ve tasted defeat quite a few times before succeeding. No round can be considered easy, not even the first one. I ve lost in the first round too before.
As its already been announced there will be more forum tournaments with desirable rewards where every player will be able to participate and have the chance to be among the winners despite of rank. 
In my opinion these forum tournaments are totally worth it and I would like to invite everyone who didn't take part in this one, as well as those who participated and didn't make it as far as they wanted. Believe it or not even some of those who lost in the first round had the potential to make it a lot deeper, and even the top 3.
Im looking forward to competing with you all in future tournaments, and I would also like to invite more players to join next time. Thanks to all of you participants for making this tournament such an enjoyable Supermechs experience. I hope the feeling is mutual.

This is a very first tournament we are doing on the new forum and with the new team, so it is also kind of testing the water and seeing how the community responds, what do they like or not and etc. There will be more tournaments in the future and we have already learnt a great deal from this one, so Im looking forward to improving the future ones 😄 Feedback is very appreciated, we are doing these for the community anyway so we'd like you to be happy to participate and have fun as well.

I'm super excited to announce the Police Mechs community tournament! If you were a user of Tacticsoft's forum you may already know what this is because we already organized few tournaments like this. For those who are unfamiliar what the tournament is about I will explain it shortly, but first I want to thank @Marija and @Fluffeh who will help me out with this event! 
 
What is Police Mechs tournament?
The main idea of this tournament is to bring community closer together and have some fun by battling in ways you wouldn't do in a real match. I think we all can agree that sometimes we just want to try something new, something that just feels out of place. That's why I think this tournament will be a great chance for it and you will see why too after reading the rules!
 
Rules
1. Only common, rare and epic items allowed. Legendary and Divine items cannot be used in this tournament. This way no matter are you a rank 1 or 10, you have equal chances to win.
2. Item level cannot be higher than Epic level 1. Commons and Rares can be upgraded. Reason for this is that we don't need unfair advantage by having higher levels items than your opponent. This way it stays balanced.
3. You must use Energy and Heat weapons only. Physical items are banned from this competition except for charge and modules.
4. You must use at least 2x Energy and Heat weapons (torsos, legs, drones or any other special doesn't count for this requirement). This is so the name of tournament make sense.
5. Heat Bomb, EMP, Firefly and Electrolyte are banned. 
6. Legacy items are not allowed. Some of them could provide unfair advantage over the players who can't get them anymore.
7. Battle is done in 1v1 format.
 
 
How can I Sign Up?
To enter this competition you need to do the following:
-After creating your mech for the tournament you will need to send it privately to me on forum along with your INGAME name. 
-You need to screenshot every category of your mech. This is so we are 100% sure you follow the rules. Any unregistered change will result in disqualification!
 
How long will the Signing Up last?
Exactly one week. Participants will have enough time to make their mechs and collect missing parts if needed. Any late entry or update on your mech will not be validated!
 
Where can I check who is my opponent and how much time do we have to finish our fight?
After the signing up period ends you will be able to find out who is your opponent here a day later. You have 2 days to finish the fight and the replay code of the match must be sent here. It's up to both sides to decide do they want to play with pads or not. If someone happens to not get an opponent in the first round that player will get a free pass to the next one.
 
Rewards
This will probably be the favorite part of the topic for many, but with a good reason! The rewards for this tournament are:
1st place: 3000 tokens
2nd place: 2000 tokens
3rd place: 1000 tokens
But that's not it! Depending on the number of participants we get, random players will get a FREE pack for just deciding to participate, so if you lose you still have a chance to get some rewards! The more participants we have, more people walk away with a free pack so make sure to spread the word 😉

Length of rounds is increased to 3 days because holidays are coming! You need to reach out with your opponent and decide when do you want to fight. The replay code of the match has to be sent here on this topic. If your opponent doesn't reply to your messages in these 3 days then you will pass to next round without a fight. Again, have in mind that I will inspect mechs that were used in the fight. Any unregistered change will result in a disqualification!

At the time of creating the topic, I was just furious that I didn't see anyone tell me the reality of things before the time that you made that post. The whole time, I believed that the sprite was considered as the sprite for my drone concept but the sudden reveal that it wasn't simply broke me.
I sincerely apologize for it now that I see your side of the deal instead being stuck in a one-sided frame of mind. I don't wish to continue the drama any further since I've moved on from trying to bear a grudge over something like this. Even I can see that what I did was petty and stupid for something like a sprite for an item that isn't likely going to be in-game due to the SuperMechs ownership change.
Forgiveness is optional but at least we can put this thing behind us knowing that we buried the hatchet. 
 

And I’m telling you, as someone with almost 7 years experience playing this game at top ranks in both legacy and reloaded, that combined modules are what killed energy. 
 
Energy free weapons existed far before energy was dead, but it was only after the release of OP, CEU, and QC that energy got absolutely shafted. This didn’t fundamentally break anything about the game, but it did make energy the weakest type since it gave everything insane regen. 
 
Please stop using weight to stat ratio as a point of comparison between items. It doesn’t accurately judge how the meta functions in this game. A better point of comparison in my opinion is usage rates across all ranks, as it provides a more realistic vector at which to compare an items viability. 
 
Buffs are not popular at all? If I’m not mistaken this is the first buff we’ve seen in at least 8 months, last one being Archimonde by a tiny insignificant amount. Suggesting buffs may be popular, but it doesn’t translate to in game change.

Let me give the good example and introduce myself!
My name is Alexander but everyone calls me Alex. I am 28 years old, I am into sailing, ski-ing, reading, writing, anime/LNs, games and cooking. I started playing a game called BattleDawn back in 2006 when I was 14 and was asked to help test SuperMechs by a BD Admin back before it was public and just kind of stuck around. I lead a team called NCR (New Corgi Revolution) in Battle Dawn with Josh (Malicewolf) and am a member of the Shiba Revolution in Super Mechs. 
I studied Software Engineering, but frankly I find most things interesting.
Some years ago I was hired by Ilona to be Community Manager (we talked a lot and she suggested I apply if I really want to improve BD/SM so much, so I did), she however didn't stick with the company after that so I had to kind of learn the job on the spot on my own. And take parts of her job (Product Manager) while at it. This went pretty well and I formed a pretty natural gear in the SM and BD teams, but when the SM Team grew it became harder and harder for me to feel like I was making a meaningful impact. I went to Michael (Tacticsoft CEO), told him to either give me something else to do or I'll have to walk away eventually. He asked me what I want to do then and I offered to take over Battle Dawn instead, which was orphaned without a manager and close to a shutdown.
I took it over, it went pretty well, Battle Dawn didn't get shut down, grew a lot. We recruited Josh and Elcent who are awesome human beings and eventually Michael passed me onto a guy who was buying the rights to make a Battle Dawn sequel. We got along and after spending a lot of time discussing with each other, we decided to buy Battle Dawn itself as well. I re-recruited Ilona to the team (sadly she left a while ago again :P) and re-recruited Simmen, Gato Games was born. 

We improved Battle Dawn's servers a lot, I got the title of CEO, we recruited Gaurav, Fluffeh and Kenny and eventually got a chance to buy Super Mechs... Which at the time we couldn't. Got another one and this time we could and did. 
So yeah, here we are and here I am. Please be nice to me. 😛

Since I know multiple players and myself have other players in their family, therefore playing the game under the same IP, I do not think this is a good idea, Besides that, people already have VPN those days, so it wouldn't be really hard to bypass that system if it were implemented. 🙂
