No offense, but that just means you don't know how to build a dual hotflash properly. You're a low ranker in any case. It is very good in the right hands, I've battled a couple of them already. If you know when to cool down, you could just get by with 500/300 heat.
And being energy free, as well as having better drain outclasses malice beam because you don't have to worry about energy stats as much.

You expect people to keep playing this game when your pulling things like this on me? I get SO CLOSE to finally hitting rank 9, then you show up and give me NOTHING but rank 5-8 for 10 battles straight and now im knocked down to rank 12.
So how much money do i need to throw at you guys until i can get past rank 10!?

also, yah, I was first to do bunker + grim cobra. till then they used to give a grim cobra at epic level every week and nobody wanted it, so I thought Id try make it work. that was some hot shit for a minute there. this was pre-burning shower so it really fricked heat mech's sheett up.

Here is an ever reliable build that helps me survive in nowadays SM. My inventory is very limited so I work with what I have, and this build is no exception. Trust me, it sucks when I get cornered, but it still gets the job done. 👍 

The synergy between Plasma Cannon and Burning Shower is surprisingly good, given I'm in the correct ranges. The Magma is a place holder in case I get cornered by the enemy. And the Heat Bomb is there to help deal with energy mechs (but it is very useful against Physical mechs as well). The double shutdown against energy mechs is very helpful for me since that gives me the opportunity to use the Plasma Cannon (assuming I'm in the right range for it) again since it is the only weapon that needs energy in this build. The extra roughly 250 damage is very crucial in a battle, so every hit counts. 

Not really the best mech, I can do better, but this is what has been giving me the most success. 🙂 

Although I've been trying to come up with some changes with this build lately. So far, this is what I've came up with: 

I am not entirely sure whether or not dropping a heat bomb for the extra 300 hit points would be worth it (but I do get a second resistance drainer in return). Will be doing some runs with it to see which build is better. 😋
