With all due respect, I believe your lack of energy stats is the only reason why you think those weapons are OP.
I can speak for Malice, Hysteria, Corrupt Light, and Flaminator.  I can max them but it won't get me above rank 5.
They're not overpowered.
But feel free to put a forum post on balance discussions with the properly formatted poll and see what people think.

rolling beasts and stormweaver aren't completely useless, stormweaver is decent and purifier needs infinite uses
stormweaver needs more energy cap damage and energy drain overall, archimonde needs a big stat buff, and rolling beasts need damage buff

Your mate is not negative, he is realistic. Instead you, instead of taking the side of players, prefer to lick the boots of the administration (your reasons you'll have). Again with your negativity bias.  How can game designers plan for something that hasn't happened yet?  And how is Gato Games supposed to do that when they've only owned the game for 2 months?
Maybe try this for one day: every time you have a negative thought, force yourself to find the positive side of the coin and think that.

I get it, I really do.  And I don't know if you have this problem, but I'm very perfectionistic.  I used to think like you, always negative.  But I had to eventually realize that this only put me in a downward spiral.  Not saying that happens to you.  But seriously, please at least try to think positive in one reply a day.
Alex is already making lots of good changes in the game.  Just put this in the form of an idea post in the meta changes or suggestions area, put the poll in place like it tells you to, and let people vote on it.  Alex seems to prefer that the community, i.e. we, put the suggestions together and vote so he knows if we think an idea is good.
You could be the person to make a huge change for the game if you can harness your creativity in this direction.

I don't understand what you're saying.
1) When I use power kits I upgrade them to the max of their tier.  I don't transform them, which is too expensive.  So I spend about 17,000 (17 common items), 5,000 (the power kit) and then maybe 100 gold upgrading the thing to max (this is for a common).  So power kits are insanely cheap to use, even if I don't combine them to a rare (which is 3 common max'd and one common at level 5; you do the math).
2) You can reduce the cost of production in the base.
3) My base is at level 19 and my gold keeps increasing.  I almost need to pay for more expensive "quick common" in the factories just to "burn off" all the gold my base makes.
The base is very efficient ... once max'd.
But honestly the base is worth it by the time you get the HQ, 3 gold mines, and 1 factory to level 15.  Then you have power kits.  On my alt that only took 2 months of gameplay.  Seriously, the base is totally worth it.

I am pretty sure the reason is that a relic system like this would require them to make a new game feature, which requires modifying the source code.  Versus buffing items to balance the game probably only takes adjusting a few values in a database.

If you were to do the math for amont of items you get for 30 between base and silver box you would see silver box is broken

I would think a relic upgrade system would work.
But I dunno about 1:2 ratio.
It should probably be like 1:10.
I have so many common ascension relics right now that I would probably shoot to rank 1-5 if the ratio was only 1:2.
I say this only because I feel like 1:2 is too easy.  But I could be wrong.
Still, I'm in favor of a relic upgrade system.

Because I asked a rank 1 how many EFAs I should hold on to 🙂

Most players support this 100%, including me. This has been discussed at length several times, and I believe that Alexander supports the change. Implementation and timeline are another matter, however.
