  1. ggs @Invicktus I'll be advancing to the next round.
  2. @mohamed Alpatal Khalaf Do you have discord? If so you can contact me at Maxx#1175, or via forum pm.
  3. I'll be moving onto the next round. ggs! @Johnny Joestar
  4. I sat down with some top base users a few months back to try and figure out through which circumstance base is optimal. For context we worked under the assumption that the primary objective is to max myth items as fast as possible. TLDR is that using only the gold grinded from campaign, buying 5x silver boxes can achieve item upgrade speeds equal to or slightly below that of a maxed base. This came out to a maxed item approximately every 4-5 days depending on your grinding and upgrading efficiency. Opinion Alert Base is not optimal for players without 3 or more completely maxed mechs. It was designed to slow the early game progress to an absolute crawl in attempt to draw out more purchases throughout a player’s progression. Although base can offer some great late game benefits including a chance for legendaries and afk gold earnings, the time and gold it takes to max out the base is a lot effort for new players. I’m consistently top 10 global with over 200 maxed items and never once have I regret keeping silver boxes. Other top players have used base to achieve similar success and swear by it. From my perspective all I ever see is people asking to have base disabled and complain about how bad the legendary drop rates are. For this reason I prefer to grind OD6 insane and spam my 5x silvers.
  5. I have also opened all my boxes and still have a few items missing that I would like to test with. Would it be acceptable to give every account another 300 mixed and epic boxes? Like this post if you agree!
  6. It's essentially a slower, heavier, energy consuming resistance drainer. We're also stuck in a meta defined by heat huggers, most of what people find success with is either it's own hugger or is knockback focused as counterplay to opposing huggers. A 2-4 range static damaging weapon, no matter how lightweight it may be, isn't going to be very useful in top ranks.
  7. Bar none the best farmer the game has ever seen. Game will feel a bit empty without your presence. Best of luck with your future endeavors OKI, will be patiently awaiting your return!
  8. @Andernut is the author and king of the dual UPC energy, I take no credit. Although I can build worse variations of my own Other than that, thread looks much better than the last one.
  9. What an absolute joke of a thread, no representation of the actual ebbs and flows that occur within rank 1 usage rates. No, I'm not going to waste my time compiling my own thread to counter this one, anyone with half a braincell will know to look at the leaderboards and get a general understanding of what to shoot for. Doubling down on that point, I've always disliked the use of these threads. You're just pointing to what everyone else uses instead of encouraging originality, which is the driving force that gets these things built in the first place. Also no offense to ZeRo here, but he has no solo medals and personally I've never even seen him finish a week (the point at which one's rank actually matters) in the top 10 before. I'm sure his intentions with these builds are fine, but Sawz trying to hold this dude on a pedestal with a single screenshot (with the "show online" option checked too LOL) is just complete nonsense. Sawz I'd really like to give you the benefit of the doubt with your intentions here, but seeing as to how you conduct yourself around literally anyone who disagrees with you has me second guessing. Please get your ego in check brother. For anyone else still reading this thread, if you want meta, here's your goddamn meta. Energy Dependent and Energy Independent Phys. Energy Dependent Heat. Damage Based and Drain Based Energy.
  10. Heat legs are the best choice on practically any mech that isn't using claw because of the resistance profile. If you get drained using an energy mech, you're already in too big of a losing position that the added benefit of a few extra damage from a stomp attack isn't saving you. @Phobos, I would strongly recommend against using drain based energy mechs if you're chasing arena points. Damage based energy has a far higher performance ceiling in top ladder, although it is less fun to pilot from personal experience. The build below may suit you better, while still maintaining the benefit of beating most counters you'll find in the rank 3 swamp. Good luck.
  11. I've always labeled counters as any mech designed to beat two types with no attention paid to the third type. This usually manifests itself as phys mechs with 249/77 energy stats. I guess in a way it counters the user because it loses you respect in arena? Just stick to rounded mechs, folks. It's the highest expression of skill achievable in this p2w skinner box.
  12. Fun fact, 3 Quads = 2 CEU + 2 OP. Of course you save a mod slot with 3 Quads, cementing it as the best item in the game lol Nice analysis! Top player input - we usually stick either 2 Quad + 2 OP or 3 Quad + 1 OP. This paired with triple fortress and a platinum plate provides adequate balance of stats when put on either molten or lightning vests.
  13. Oh our alliance with WLG is long gone. Just thought I'd clarify since there's some shade being thrown in the general direction. Feel free to verify with Boss and firewater. Best of luck with Noble Warriors!
  14. Got nothing better to do so thought I'd give some pointers. Overall not a bad design, but it's rather inconsistent even when built and played optimally. There's many different variants to try, but this one below is one of the better ones. A few points I'd like to make if you're going to try these, firstly to use Rock Recoiler over Dark Eagle. Recoiler just works much better against heat huggers and can provide some decent damage at range 1. Secondly if you're going to use a second utility, I'd recommend grapple over superb charge. Mainly because you'll find your back against the wall often with this mech architype, and being able to grapple from said position is a great next turn threat to either repulser + scope if the opponent jumps back or teleport + scope if the opponent doesn't move. Just want to reiterate that this design isn't the end all be all for phys scopes, it's just a decent one. You don't necessary need double teleport or energy fortress, but in some situations they help. Single teleport is obviously a must, however.
  15. Sorry to hear about your molar, wishing you a speedy recovery OKI! This game can't afford to lose the master of grinding Excellent work with the accounts as per usual. Also continuing to grind OD6 insane here, even if it's against the pleas of some teammates lol. Can't argue with the results!
  16. My 2nd solo medal, this time in 2v2 season... gross! mech selection sucks lmao
  17. 50 solo golds already?! Well you know what they say, time flies when you're having fun. It's been an honor and a privilege to fight alongside you Clever. I can confidently say that the past year has been some of the most fun I've ever had in this game, specifically getting to know you and the boys in TF. Sad to see you go, but everything that has a beginning has an end. In my eyes you'll always be one of the greatest. That being said, let's keep in touch. Hit me up if you ever want to grind some Eleven Table Tennis again. You can't handle this forehand! Best of luck with your future endeavors.
  18. Increased max level cap to 300, with added end-game rewards at every level past 250. Things like extra inventory slots, team slots, tokens, gold, and an item of choice as the level 300 reward. Doesn't sound too difficult to implement from a developer standpoint, and offers all players a great incentive to grind and continue playing the game every day.
