In this topic, I’ll post what I believed to be some of the best of the best OLDER meta/top-tier builds. The point of this topic is to have a place to put all former meta builds, as many of them will be helpful for the vast majority of players (to use as a reference point and something they can build into over time).
META = Most Effective Tactics Available (ie. what's the best build in game to help you climb the ladder in arena). Note this isn’t a build help thread. If you need build help, please go there.

WOW, I still need to watch many videos around. I had no idea about the video with so many meta around. Hmm, I had no idea that I was building similar in my maxing parts area similar mechs and even the mech I fought against you with similar characteristics. By the way I was easy pray 😂🤭 and I remember now that fight. Now I understand why so many guys around have the phys version and curiosity I did similar long ago in L1 test never developed. Anyway, farming takes years to build something. Nice fights and video. 👍
Hmm, very curious that I build similar test mechs and build sets to max parts as your meta mechs from initial getting parts. Sure not same way with modules because looking to make modules at this stage for different combos but very similar structures. I had same kind of result with my modules test combinations but not at your low limit and I agree with your though about energy need a bit of buff on those parts just a bit. I do not know if recently some changes happen to some energy weapons that I used to fight and win without lots of problems but now affect more my mechs. I have been playing just in test ways all of this time checking with same set up then getting same players with different modules and something changed I think recently. Excellent video as always. 👍👌

heat boiler mechs can attack cooling, but regen attacking mechs aren't good currently. But best boiler mechs now are just heat capacity attacks

Gold capacity on level 20 is 75k now (before 25k). I like this change.

No idea, never took a test. I'd say I'm above average IQ, but not to the point where it's so significant. I will say I do think more creatively than people and I naturally enjoy work more than others probably.

I think best way to do this with as little bias as possible is to watch SM pack opening compilations. However, note that all those drop rates will be higher than present due to new items being introduced

META = Most Effective Tactics Available (i.e. what's the best build in game to help you climb the ladder in arena and have the highest win rate). I've excluded "popular" builds that aren't really "meta." I'm defining meta as the best builds in their respective element and must at a minimum be able to achieve Rank 1 full stars (and preferably have the highest win rate possible).  The "best" builds are of my own opinion from arena testing.

Expected value of 15 packs is 15 legends (1 legend per pack). There's RNG - you can get 0 legends, you can get 50 - just luck... 
I'm one of most unlucky players in game by RNG. Not sure where you got that I'm lucky from. You also need to know that I've opened ~5k premium packs (25k premium boxes / ~1.6M tokens worth) or so. I can tell you that drop rates are low. ~20% chance per card for premium packs (and about ~7% of that is from L-Ms). Certain L-Ms have about 0.05% drop rate per card in premium box/pack. So unless you open 400+ packs, I don't see why you are complaining here that you're unlucky...

Defer to Alex if he wants to post anything, but I can summarize:
1) Drop rates are really bad - probably worse than you think.
2) Pity system - if you open 2 premium packs and get all purples, you're more likely to get a legendary in next pack.

Not half bad build at all, but weak to phy due to low hp. 

When people ask what I do with my tokens now...vid coming out on this within a week 🙂

I think Alex mentioned at one point the best sales are usually the ones with the "coolest" looking weapons. We live in a (relatively) top ranks perspective here vs. the avg SM player =P
