Colors mean something in game.... so the weapons start doing damage of each type?

thats my point, its misleading when you see it on another mech, creating a tactical advantage. Paint shouldnt do that

Think for a little, do you think that paints aren't for tactical advantages?  

Also you can see a weapons stats by hovering over them.

In case you didn’t notice, the background color indicates the element of the item besides the item’s color itself as noted in the photo below:

So, the item’s color isn’t that important. And if people don’t own the item, they can always look at the item’s stats in the arena.

You can't inspect the opponents mech in a clanwar, and the elemental colors just should'nt be changed either imo.

Not a big deal. All he has to do is make a dominate color for the item’s element somewhere, and then change the confetti colors to some other colors. So, it’s obvious what element the item uses.

Thus, in the photo below, the parts I circled can be the dominate color for the item’s element:

The concept for this paint is still a good idea. I don’t see an issue with this paint.

If you don’t like it, that’s your opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I happen to like the confetti paint.

To answer your question, I was thinking about a Spartan’s helmet, although it looks more like a mohawk really.

Anyway, it could use some color there or maybe not. Since you’re the artist, I’ll leave that up to your discretion.

Red looks ok, but Archimond is a physical torso, so technically it should be yellow as a dominate color on that crest. That way, it doesn’t confuse people on its element. Otherwise, you can replace the red with confetti colors.

But like I mentioned earlier, the original color gray works fine.

Red, also makes it look like the legacy version.
