    Ay! You found Nemo!
... But all Disney jokes aside, congrats.
Now you just need to worry about Swoop users and their hardcore boiler builds.

The store was basically an item marketplace where all of the in-game items were able to be directly bought with gold/tokens. As you leveled-up in legacy times, more and more items would unlock and become purchasable.
For the cost determination, common to epic items were purchasable with gold while legendary and mythical items were purchasable with tokens.
You could also get kits from the store like the ones that you see dropping from supply crates in Reloaded campaign maps (Legacy did that too but also had bullet and rocket ammo kits to replenish your ammunition) but they were  permanent until used... Which meant that you could carry HP kits with you into arena in order to heal yourself in the middle of combat.
Extra Note: Using kits in the middle of any battle (campaign and arena alike) will take an action point away per kit, so it wasn't easy to abuse the system without risking your mech's life in the process.

I think the campaigns are fine the way they are.  If anything, I'd like a totally new campaign mode called Survival, where you see how many mechs you can destroy (they get harder as you beat them).
As for the store, I never experienced the store, so I can't agree or disagree on that one.

I'm hoping that the result is that energy isn't over-buffed.  I'm hoping the result is that all three types are about equal in the game in the future.  That way newbies don't feel like they screwed up by building an energy mech, for example.  That's a very common feeling, by the way.
Just FYI, I don't think I'll ever be in favor of nerfing anything.  Except Frantic Brute, because the last nerf didn't go far enough 🙂

BLUF: Energy is systematically weak and is handicapped.  None of the current energy meta mechs can beat the top heat meta mech, which proves my point.
LONG STORY: I think most SM players have become aware of the general weakness, i.e. handicap, that energy mechs have to face.  But I figured I would spell it out on paper here just in case there are those who disagree.
Here’s the top heat META mech, as of the day I wrote this.

As you can see, regen is 341 and cooling is 379.   Seems easy, but when you put all the current meta energy mechs against the top heat mech, they are easily defeated.  Here are some screenshots: all aboard the failboat!

So energy gets beaten easily all the time, and only the UPC + Bright Roar mech even managed to energy break the top heat mech.  But it still lost.
Then I thought to myself, let's try the dual valiant from old meta:

This is more or less what the old META dual valiant was.  I forgot to deploy the drone, however, which I only just noticed.

    Conclusion:
Regen being free every turn makes being an energy mech more difficult than heat. Energy weapons of the same kind as heat (Hysteria vs Savagery) are weaker on paper. You need two of the top energy weapon in the game to beat the top heat mech: if they forget to use their Swoop.  So basically energy cannot win against heat at all. The abundance of energy-free weapons and being able to move when energy broken makes it even more difficult. THEREFORE, energy is systematically handicapped in this game and needs a buff. Feel free to reply and give your own experiences, or post WU screenshots.

As long as you don't let your opinions cloud your judgement, that's good.
That's something that some players struggle to do when they make ideas... I'd rather not start pointing fingers at people since that's rather rude. Instead, I'ma reference an idea that should best be left alone.
    +15% Desolation damage.

Alright, this change seems better... As long as no one tries to abuse it, that is.
If the new StormWeaver gets abused, TerrorBlade will definitely get ripped from the high ranks for sure due to getting constantly hunted by StormWeavers.

Ok, so I was thinking today, because it's a snow day here and I'm bored....
But it got me thinking and I remembered what it was like to be a brand new player.
I love the META but let's be honest: for many, especially F2P, it's probably out of their reach.
Thus, my request to this community is that we create this "F2P META" thread.  Basically, I'd like players with at least arena rank 10 to submit builds they know are good (and have tested in WU) that do not contain any premium items.
I know that WU gives you divine items, and that's fine, but just try to do your best, and please turn off arena buffs.
Basically, let's suggest some good configurations for newbies and F2P.
Please reply with good solid recommendations for newbies and F2P to use.
Please remember, absolutely no premium items.  But I realize that the teleport and grappling hook in WU are only the premium models, so those are ok for the purpose of just showing that the reader needs to include the non-premium versions of those items.
I'll start off.  If you don't like my options, reply and give me better mechs and I'll swap out the photos, or add them.  Again, if a newbie will find it helpful, it's helpful.

F2P Boiler.  I only included Flaming Hammer because it's useful in campaigns.  For the arena, substitute a teleporter and basalt dissolver for the hammer if you want, but I like being able to knock people into range 4 for savagery.

F2P Energy Drainer.  One can substitute Viking Hammer for EMP for campaigns.

F2P Physical.  I prefer Reckless Beam (unlimited shots, longer range and less randomness) to Frantic Brute, but you can substitute Frantic Brute.  Also, if you prefer, you can substitute Rock Recoiler for War Hammer if you prefer hammers for the campaigns, like I do.  I prefer Annihilation in case you get energy drained.  Other possibilities include a push and pull mech for taking advantage of the resistance breaking pads in the arena:

But obviously I left out Annihilation, which would mean this mech is mostly useless if energy drained.  So another possible build:
