FUD as in Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt? Nah, I don't think getting Spinefall twice is FUD. If you're sure you don't want it, either keep it in case, or fuse it if you're absolutely sure you don't want it.

I can agree with preferring annihilation to a recoiler. I have a distance shredder so the combo is great for attacking energy mechs.

I don't know, personally. I'm currently upgrading my non-premium resistance modules (that I have obtained only recently) because it seems like resistance is starting to matter more at the arena rank 10 and up level. I do upgrade my arena buffs, but I must have left them disabled in WU. But you know that mostly I've ran without resistance. My personal (arena rank 10) opinion: run without resistance until you upgrade torso to max, then add resistance (unless you get a nice premium box module first, in which case run with that). But I could be wrong. I know, watching CleverName's matches, resistance is incredibly important.

I don't know man. I've never done a clan war and I've gotten some arena rewards at the end of the season, but I've got quite a bit of them for playing only 4 months. Some of these have come from premium packs, and every once in a while, daily rewards. Here's what I have right now:

Because someone could claim that we "don't need" a heat version of last words because cracked plasma cannon exists, and I'm explaining why it's not ideal for that purpose due to backfire.

It looks to me like it will work. I would not use lightning recoiler because it doesn't do much drain (though you have EMP, which might make up for it). You might like this configuration: But then again, I don't like face shocker because you have to keep activating it. And I don't like running two 3-6 range weapons, personally. Here's what I would do with modules and weapons if it was my mech: It seems you want to focus on 3-6 range, so my opinion is Last Words (more drain), two malice beams (I saw someone fight CleverName at rank 1 with two malice beams) and Grim Cobra to suck them in. Electrolyte because I hate Face Shocker. Grapple is optional. I know this leaves nothing for armor or resistance, so you may not like it. If it was me, then I'd hope to get some quad cores and such, which could then possibly become this: But keep in mind I'm rank 10 so I think capacity and cool/regen are more important due to this level being full of drainers and boilers.

I am not having the problems you are experiencing. It works for me.

I was looking for a flash game or some game with mechs. Battle Mechs had become boring. None of the vote options work for me, so I didn't vote.

As someone who's been playing a mostly F2P heat boiler configuration for quite some time now (corrupt light + savagery), I have noticed that using Flaming Hammer or Terror Blade is difficult because there's not a 2-4 range push-back weapon for heat mechs. Last Words and Terror Cry are options, but they don't do heat damage. I used to run around with a Terror Cry on my heat mech for 2-4 push until I got a Cracked Plasma Cannon. But Cracked Plasma Cannon is annoying because it costs backfire: it's a liability in the campaign. My request then: can we please have a heat version of Last Words / Terror Cry? Can we call it Last Smoke? (There's a request for a heat version of Grim Cobra elsewhere, and I recommend that we call that one Backdraft.) Having a non-premium way to push enemies out of range 2 into range 3 for corrupt light would be very useful.

I say if we get a heat version of Grim Cobra it should be called Backdraft. Abomination is a premium. Not everyone has a red rain or burning shower, and those are also premiums. I don't see a pull weapon for heat that isn't premium except a grappling hook. I say we definitely need a heat pull weapon like Grim Cobra. You should always be upgrading things I would upgrade all your modules, but I would start with your overload protector: max that baby out to max mythical. It's META. The rest of the modules, I would at least upgrade them to level 40 legendary. Try to get that energy and heat to 500 capacity and 250+ regen/cool. So heat just needs a little more capacity (probably add another heat engine). Energy could use probably another engine. What works for me is two heat engines, two mass cools, and four energy engines, but feel free to adjust things as you need to. The drone is good. Once you max out everything (all your weapons, torso, legs, modules) start maxing out your charge engine. If you get energy drained, charge + annihilation will only become more powerful that way. Why do you have two Nightfalls? I would recommend just one if you can add another weapon for another range. Like Night Eagle or Frantic Brute. I like Reckless Beam but honestly few people use them so I don't know if substituting Night Eagle would help there. Less weight, less need, more weight for modules. But anyways, yeah, just keep upgrading items.

I know, but still Honestly, if people would watch a few of CleverName's videos they'd realize that sometimes other torsos get to rank 1, and some mech configs that are not META reach rank 1. So I say flex the cool items you get!

I've gotten relics in daily rewards, fortune boxes, and premium boxes. This is, last I checked, my first time even attempting the relics portal.

I like Hollow Spectral Armor a lot. If I had gotten one of these for my physical mech, I would've just ran with it instead of wishing I had gotten the energy or heat version. Sweet!

Awesome! I suspected that config would become best (but I expected the torso would be Rusty Energy). (See my reply on January 2: I also expected Bulldog, not Lightning Cutter). Now I can officially REALLY be SAWZ-ALL by using saws in almost all of my mechs. (I am named for the SawzAll Reciprocating Saw, though: at the time I didn't know there were saws in this game.) Dude, no way. Like, seriously, I've fought you in the arena and I don't remember beating you. I'm pretty sure you're a higher level player than I am. I lost maybe twice on hard mode but I ran it with my heat mech. I made a "team" in the workshop and stacked my heat mech with all the nice stuff I had and then ran it until I ran out of fuel. I know you. You should totally be able to do this. I had a quad core, overprotector, platinum, and savior resistance on the heat mech. I don't have any better resistance stuff. I started using the items I got that weren't epic or higher to upgrade my massive lava legs, those were a bit weak. But yeah I died a couple times, but not every time. I never used my tokens to revive, that I recall. Don't give up bro. Nice! I'm jealous of the lightning cutter.
