  4. @OKI DOKI, with all due respect, I find it EMBARRASSING that someone of your caliber would display such INCOMPETENCE in mech building. With this thread, you’ve COMPLETELY REVOKED any authority you may have had on meta builds. It’s a DISGRACE, really. Instead, I will supply people with the REAL meta builds, one for each type:

  6. First, if by “several years”, you mean pre-Reloaded or early Reloaded, you’d probably be better off with a new account, as SM has changed a lot in a couple years. With that out of the way, you were likely banned because admins found significant evidence of hacking / exploitative bug abuse on your account (big shocker, I know).   7. Assuming you have all the modules shown in the original post, I would recommend this build instead.
  8. If you have a weapon that can cover for range 2, you can use it; otherwise, use a recoiler.
  9. The perk was purchasable for 200 tokens in the shop prior to Reloaded and is now only available through offers.
  10. I would max Nightmare. It’s quite a good torso and in the event you get a better torso, you’ll already have something for your other mechs.

  12. Apologies for messing up the original res drain numbers, but I still think it should get a sizable resistance drain buff. As it stands, it’s an extremely lackluster top weapon option that can’t even begin to compete with other options in those valuable slots. Sustain drain weapons don’t see as much use as just mixing both extremes (dmg and drain) - so IMO, Desert Fury needs to pack a punch if it’s to see any use. You want actual sustain damage? Go for Spartan Carnage. Burst damage? Go for a scope. Utility and damage? Go for Distance Shredder or the pull weapons. Doubling res drain to 46 and adding some weight (e. g. 5-10 kg) would be a good start for Desert Fury, making it into a weapon that can compete with other options for these slots.
  13. I would favor a dramatic increase in Desert Fury’s drain. Ranges 4-8 aren’t the strongest for phys (save for scope builds) and top weapons in that range severely outclass it, i. e. the phys scopes and Distance Shredder. Moreover, its resistance drain is quite dated (-54 over two uses) and is further outclassed in that department by the 2-4 range res drainers. IMO, the buff should be at least +10 res drain (27 -> 37) to as much as double res drain (27 -> 54), though that might be too much.
  14. My personal favorite is the teleport finisher.
