  1. There’s a common phenomenon of inexperienced players looking for build help building out of their means, so we should get started with you showing your inventory so we know what we’re working with.
  2. Rolling Beasts are quite possibly the worst legs in the game, but the reasons why will require a bit of explanation. Reason #1: Phys Meta Builds For pretty much all of the current phys builds (double shotty, jumper, scope, and Spartan/Frantic), Rolling Beasts either can't be used or actively work against you. In the former case, Rolling Beasts' lack of jumping locks out two powerful combo weapons - Ejection Blast and Distance Shredder. In the latter case, jumping gets you out of the very corner of the arena if your opponent is right in front of you. Stomp + Rock Recoiler deals more damage, but jumping behind them has its use cases (getting out of scope range, getting out of the corner if you somehow burn through the recoiler's uses, getting out of hugger range). Even suspending that, The Claw is more useful (mostly in lower ranks) for its greater HP and comparatively niche mobility drawback. Reason #2: Little Need for Extra Mobility 3 move space rarely comes into use, more so on phys than any other type. Reason #3: Outdated Stats This is a problem that plagues a lot of legs and doesn't need a lot of explanation, as every relevant aspect of these old legs is overshadowed by the Massive Feet series. Reason #4: Fails as a Sidegrade to Sparked Runners Unlike Rolling Beasts, Sparked Runners actually do see some use in high ranks on en mechs, namely glass cannon drainers. They're light, drainers don't use jumping weapons, and they have a very niche use in allowing you to get to range 6 from range 9 in one turn. Those last two features are shared by Rolling Beasts, so wouldn't they make for a tankier option? No, not really. Beyond 5 kg of overload, Sparked Runners overtake Rolling Beasts in terms of HP, not to mention that at best you're only getting 87 extra HP. That could be useful, but you need a whopping 20 kg to max the bonus out and a minimum of 15 kg to get an impressive 3 extra HP. That extra weight would be much better used by a hook and/or res drainer. Proposed Buff: Lightweight and Efficient Bringing Rolling Beasts more in line with the design of Sparked Runners seems like the most straightforward solution. To put out numbers just for some degree of concreteness, something like 576 HP at 120 kg with res and res drain either being standardized or removed from the Massive Feet series could do (obligatory disclaimer that I'm just throwing about HP and weight stats and can't test it). Not only does the ability to use jumping weapons actually have a downside now, but it also has an HP efficiency second only to The Claw. Lowering the weight does have the potential to kill Sparked Runners, so just a straight HP buff could work so long as it maintains its efficiency. I can't really think of a rework that doesn't go this way, so if you're more creative than me, have at it.
  3. I occasionally use an en scope build in 1v1 / 2v2, and while it is eclipsed by phys scope mechs, its performance is fairly decent. As it’s the only scope build where a push drone is optimal, setting up scope combos and dealing with huggers is a bit easier (piercing fox is also a near direct upgrade over lightning recoiler for this reason). You also have the added bonus of an auto win against counters, which is nice.
  4. Hey guys, do any of you know when the November 14th portal will start? Thanks.
  5. The whole weapon class is really bad. Not only do they have poor damage and situational use, but on a scope mech, they’re competing for item slots and weight that would be used much better by a res drainer or a repulser. While it has multiple uses, the double tele is only 15 kg heavier that the normal tele, which should be a given on a scope mech - the weapons from the series are all a bit over 30 kgs in comparison.
  6. Do bear in mind that tokens are offered as win milestones in clans, so they aren’t cheating.
  7. An item only turns black once it’s upgraded to level 50. There are no black paint kits.
  8. With lvl 18+ factories, you can craft guaranteed epic side and top weapons, but production is horribly inefficient (189k/card, 2d 5hr craft time w/ maxed arena shop. If you’re really desperate, you can use those, but I’d suggest saving up tokens for offers to get lots of packs and hopefully drop it.
  9. Ascension relics give a 5-7% boost in the stats of an item that can be increased without transformation (e. g. torsos: heat cap, en cap, and hp, not resistance, cooling, and regen). It’s not a lot, but it adds up. As for the technical bit, relics have rarities just like normal items, and these correspond to the normal items they can be used to transform. For example, Nightmare starts at common and uses common relics whereas Molten Platinum Vest starts at legendary and uses legendary relics. The cost of ascension also scales with rarity as follows: Common - 2 relics + 100k, Rare - 3 relics + 200k, Epic - 4 relics + 500k, Legendary - 5 relics + 1M.

    Help me

By far the most reliable source of token income is from watching ads. You get 2 tokens per ad, capped at 30 ads per day (60 total tokens and each ad is always 15 seconds long on pc), completely independent of your actual progress in the game. If you have any trouble watching ads, there are some fixes that may help
  11. It’s a premium box.
  12. The 50 token reward is on top of the 10 tokens from the earlier milestone. Also, there’s a 100 token reward at 5k total wins, but the number of clans that reach that is probably in the single digits.
  13. If someone has a 5 digit token count, chances are they’ve either spent money, hacked, or hoarded. With respect to token income, the best advice is to watch ads, as they give you 60 tokens per day (30 ads, 2 tokens each). With the daily 10 tokens, that’s 490 a week ignoring all other sources of token income. Other sources such as campaign, raid, and clan milestones tend to scale as you progress (clan milestones are a bit of an exception, as they’re based on win amount, but lower level clans don’t often clear the 1000 win bar for 50 tokens - a majority of clans can hit the earlier bar with 10 tokens).
  14. Without premiums, phys definitely pulls ahead of other types.
  15. Level up fuel regen + cap and campaign gold bonus in arena shop and buy refills during increased campaign gold events.
  16. Windigo is one of the best non-premium torsos, so you’re on the right path. On the other hand, Archimonde is quite bad (balanced stats but way too heavy).
  17. A friendly reminder that the general WU rule is to always build within your means. It’s of no practical use if you make mechs with all top-tier items that you don’t have in the first place (but of course that doesn’t stop you from just messing around).
  18. You are not forced to literally watch ads. If you’re concerned about time, you can work on something else while you watch them. To get all the ads, you need to first watch them on mobile and then complete the rest on desktop (I think puffin also works for this). To reset ads on mobile, delete the app and download it again and then spam tap the watch ads button until you get an ad. Ads are capped at 30 per day and refresh at a specific time (different for everyone), so be mindful of that.
  19. You have a baseline of 70 tokens per day just by watching ads and doing your dailies.
