An event is an event for everyone and must be accessible to the average player. The juicier the prize, the more it disappoints those who can't beat it. And more than 90% of the players could not overcome insane mode, even spending tokens on revive.
So if the reward is good, it's to help the players who have less, the player who takes several days to collect their tokens. But, ultimately, those who have VIP items are favored, which are the ones they don't really need.
It is disgusting how these games work and the lack of empathy that those who defend this system have, which in the short or long term ends up encouraging cheating, manipulation and favoritism of all kinds.

All crap here, meaning none of the new modules.  I got tempted and should have known better.
2 legendary combined storage units that got me a little excited each time and then I saw they were just the upgraded epic crap versions.  Plat plate but can't use it on energy builds.

I think you can get a lot of purples that will be useful for upgrading. Some legy's food of myth also useful for upgrade and maybe 2 and if you are very lucky, 3 VIP. I would jump into the pot if I needed items, but the new module offer for 2000 tokens seems better to me.

Im quite happy with it, I didn't spend on insane, and got more than the 45 tokens I would have gotten on the typical gold portal.

I need 1 revive per mech (the buggies and tanks can be dealt with in 1 life) even with my previously decent portal grinder

Here we are not talking about a difficult portal, we are talking about an impossible portal for 99% of players. Between the impossible and the possible, I prefer the possible even though the reward is less.

Here we are not talking about a difficult portal, we are talking about an impossible portal for 99% of players. Between the impossible and the possible, I prefer the possible even though the reward is less.
