Nice one.
Soon, you'll be able to farm Insane for gold on a regular basis.

It looks like an alternative version of an ORB (Overcharged Rocket Battery) Jumper, with Explosive Retreat instead of ORB.
This is the ORB Jumper loadout that I run, by the way.

Cool, I should not use both of them to transform items... in 2020...
How did you get here from 2 years ago?
Was time travel really invented all that long ago without the inventor telling anybody? If so, where can I find 'em and how much is one piece of time travel tech?Nevermind, I just realized that I read that message wrong. My bad lol.
... Wait, you did what?

Note: There's a TL; DR below, so read that if you don't want to read the post.
The empty mech icon is likely a remnant of the 6 mech layout system from an earlier version of Reloaded, where Hollow Spectral Armor and Claw were still new items.
The 6 Mech Layout system is basically like the Team system we have now, but instead of having a list of customizable loadouts, the system was comprised of 6 mech slots in a 3x2 grid accessible from the Arena screen (represented by a blue button with a mech icon and a left and right arrow).
The mech slots were split 3-and-3 between two types, active mech (blue) and standby mech (grey). Mechs that you want to use would go into the active slots and mechs that you want on standby in case you had to switch an active mech out for something else would go into the standby slots.
Not all of the slots were immediately accessible, by the way, because the inactive slots were locked and could only be unlocked if you reached a certain player level milestone, hence why that icon appears on the level up screen of certain levels.
However, that system was discarded and replaced by the Loadout system, the "Call of Duty Create-A-Class for Mechs" system we have now. Yes, it's an old system and it hasn't been changed or updated since its introduction.
TL;DR - That icon is not a bug or a visual glitch; The icon is an asset from the "beta version" of the in-game Loadout system. No one knows why the icon wasn't removed when the system was replaced and no one will likely ever find out why.
I guess Tacticsoft (the ex-owners of SuperMechs that came before Gato and were responsible for the creation of Reloaded) had a knack for leaving assets of removed features in the game for.. Some reason.

its just a visual bug. if you have a heat mech, bot's charge will effect explosive resistance, if you have an energy mech, bot's charge will effect eletric resistance.
I had a feeling that the damage infliction was too sophisticated for SuperMechs. Though I guess having interesting thoughts of visual bugs beats trying to think about them realistically.
There's a limit on how many times you can think about something in SM until it gets old or loss of interest forces attention toward something else, after all.

Recently, as I've been doing my usual campaign grinding, I've noticed something rather odd about the battles I've had against two particular campaign mech types.
The Dual Sword Energy Mechs of Overlord's Den - 7 and the Triple Energythrower Mechs of Overlord's Den - Side Mission 2 have charge engines that hit explosive resistance and energy resistance, respectively.
This likely means that an energy charge engine and a heat charge engine may actually be canon items in the game but are only usable by campaign AI mechs.
Note: This is most definitely a visual bug but hey, it doesn't hurt to speculate every now and then.

So our mechs look like obama? Interesting..
Obama may be great but mechs that look like mechs are even greater.
Don't ask me about how that makes sense, just pretend that it does. -
We need a perk that gives our mechs the appearance of our mechs. Only then will there be a perk with limitless value.

This calculation comes out to -72, you have -80 + 8.
-90
It's - [80 + 8] and the negative is distributed between all numbers in the brackets since it's outside of the brackets, not inside, so it would be 80 + 8 before the negative is distributed to the sum of the addition in the brackets.
- [ (8 x 10^1) + (8 x 10^0) ]
- [ (80) + (8) ]
- [88]
-88Also, -91.

would it be a good substitute for tonto?
Thanks
Backstabber is a good drone for a mech that either doesn't have any form of pull weaponry and is in desperate need of said pull function or if the mech is a hugger.
Other than that, it's severely outdated and is easily capable of being outdamaged by Tonto, Selfish Protector, and their L-M/premium counterparts.
It's extraordinarily bad for a mech that has 3+ range weapons and no 1-2 range coverage whatsoever.
But the reason why that isn't a concern in the slightest should be pretty obvious.
Mechs like that are extremely rare since almost all players in general usually have a shotgun, flamethrower, or sword waiting for their target to jump into, so that 1-2 range dilemma is non-existent for those players.. That and those mechs usually don't get far, anyway. -

The dude has dual Hybrid Heat Cannons and a Shadow Wolf, all maxed (if not divine).. But not a maxed Magma Recoiler.
I have a slight feeling that the dude doesn't have an interest in rank 3 or an idea in its existence lol.

1141 tokens thats a lot,how long did you save?
I just got a premium pack for no reason and got 3 legendaries!!?
is defence matrix good?
If it's a free premium pack, it's likely the premium pack from the Christmas event.
Everyone got one free premium pack just for logging in between December 25th and January 3rd. The Christmas premium pack had higher legendary drop chances than a standard premium pack.
That's the most likely thing that I can think of in regards to a random premium pack appearing out of nowhere.
Also, I maxed another premium.
But this is definitely gonna be post merged with what I said above.

with base or sliver boxes? Also you probably need a ton of gold to upgrade all that stuff
Upgrading legendary items from level 1 to level 40 costs around 250k-300k gold.
Upgrading mythical items from level 1 to level 50 costs around 600k-680k gold.
Everything related to base upgrades is expensive.
This is just a quick heads up for anyone who's wondering about the usual expenses one would come across in SM.
Also- Epics are around 50k-90k to max from level 1.
I don't recall the exact gold cost for each rarity max, so I went with rough estimations. As for base, it's generally expensive and I don't recall the exact costs, so same story as the rarity max gold costs.

took me 2 1/2 years to get my first night eagle. now i get them too often
All in the more reason why I question my sanity whenever a legendary one drops from a fortune box instead of.. I dunno.. A Distance Shredder, the cool way of annihilating space between the user and a target.
I don't know why I would want or need one since I have a max myth Rock Polisher and no sign of getting Mercy anytime soon, but I guess it would be nice to have one for the sake of having one.
Only time will tell.

ORB Jumpers can come in several different styles.. But they aren't exactly cheap to build. You need plenty of HP, heat mods, and some form of resistance (if you have the standard amount of HP for one) in order to make it work. The build also needs Reckoning if you want the build to be energy-free and ORB-comboable simultaneously.
