please can you make a legacy item pack doesnt have to be all legacy items
I had an idea to make a legacy item with a friend a long time back (like several months ago). It didn't take long for us to realize just how many sprites and item stats we needed, so the entire idea faded away considering that only three people were trying to make a pack of that sort of size.
However, Raul, the creator of Workshop Unlimited, created a Legacy Item Pack that contains a fair amount of legacy items with accurate stats to that of the originals. Things like Ammo and Shields aren't shown in WU given how it's a simulator based around Reloaded Era items, but any legacy pack is at least a decent one.
It's not complete, though, so don't be surprised to see a lot of items with God Mode sprites instead of the actual sprites or see some torsos with out-of-wack weapon/leg mount positions.
Raul said that he'll update the pack over time but only when he's not busy doing other things, so the updates will definitely take a while.
Raul's WU Legacy Item Pack URL (Put this in the "Insert via URL" option when starting up WU):

More like maximum backfire, that'll be noticeable now that the meta has shifted towards less health.
I mean, that sort of thing won't be half bad for me to do. I basically have a lot of backfire items and 4 monkes at my disposal, so I could probably make a living off of being some sort of "HP-oriented backfire lord of death" in rank 7 or something lol.
I just need more than one Platinum Plate.. Emphasis on more.

Aw shucks, I guess it’s better than costing money
It's a free alternative that's helpful, to say the least.
But it's an alternative that haunts you once you depend on it. Once that first backfire premium drops, it's only a matter of time before your future premiums are turned into backfire ones..

Does it cost?
Only heat cost.
And backfire. Substantial amounts of backfire.

just the drawing format.
raster is drawn pixel by pixel. aka pixel art (of course, not like the extremely big pixel art games, but basically the same idea)
ms paint or adobe photoshop is an excellent raster art software. basically anything that uses brush/pencil and eraser tool is raster.vector is using lines and more solid colors. this one is harder to explain, but basically, you are drawing by creating shapes on a blank canvas instead of a really big pixel grid. adobe illustrator is a a drawing tool that only have vector drawing. this usually have a shape or pen tool.
also, can you send the original copy of the image. not the enlarged version.
Oh, in that case, I made the sprite using neither of the softwares you mentioned, I used Google Draw. The description of vector drawing sounds like the way how I made the sprite (via a culmination of shapes instead of pixel-by-pixel) and the solid grey-blue color on the sprite is the default color applied to shapes upon creation.
I didn't touch the coloring since I would be able to edit the sprite's design a lot easier when it's all the same color and not multiple kinds of shading and different colors on parts through the sprite.

Woke up early this morning and hopped onto SuperMechs to see that my Day 7 Premium Box was available to collect.
I collected it and opened it, thinking of what useless epic I would get from it this time.. Only to be greeted by an oddly familiar golden shine.
Stopped for a moment and took a deep breath, looking away from the card before unveiling the item. This was the item that was behind that card.
I can officially dual-wield saws now that I have Rock Polisher and Basalt Polisher.
A Dual Polish combo, you could call it.
Though I was hoping for a Reckoning, I at least have a 1-2 energy-free heat weapon that I can use if I need it. I could use it on my ORB Jumper build to replace Magma Recoiler but the build already has excessive backfire from Overcharged Rocket Battery and Backstabbing Protector as it is, so I guess I'll just hold onto the saw until I find a proper use for it.

This topic reminds me of Railgun.
Man, I miss Railgun.. That gun was pretty cool for a legendary and its design was just as cool. A stylish physical 1-2 contender that I always wanted and only had for like a day or two before it vanished.
It's also kind of a good thing that I didn't get it during the time that I played Legacy, though.. I would've gotten the chance to see how quickly it would take for physical Piercing Shotguns and Needle Blasters to beat me if I got it and managed to use it.
Despite that, I still miss it.

Yes, but that still harms others who don't have them maxed and are just trying to appreciate the ways of GOAT.

What are the gradients that're used in coloring sprites? I've tried looking in the old Sprite Art guide and I tried using the color picker tool of a photoshop software to try and get a rough estimate. Both methods weren't very helpful.
So, I'm asking this to see if I could get the gradients used for the grey paintjob of items as well as the element item glow effects. It definitely feels awkward for me to ask this but I feel like it's just as awkward to keep using solid grey colors and inaccurate element color gradients on my sprite ideas.
I appreciate any help and assistance given. Thank you for reading this.

We're here to appreciate the way of GOATs, don't worry.
There aren't any premiums here to bother the ideology that's truly fun to do with friends and fellow GOATs.
Arena buffs can still go die, though. They ruin everything whenever they're involved.

Thats the thing, 50% of getting a premium legendary with 50% of getting normal legendaries in the premium pack too, that means, only legendaries items from the boxes for one day
+50% chance for any legendary card to be premium would only mean that a legendary card would have +50% chance to be a premium instead of a non-premium legendary, it won't affect the legendary card drop rate of any boxes.
So if it was applied on a box like a fortune box, the chance of getting a legendary will still be as rare as getting a legendary ascension relic out of a rank 7 arena box or finding a sub-Top Rank Purifier build that's close to being the "somewhat usable" status.
In other words, fortune boxes would still be an unreliable source of legendaries but at least if they did drop a legendary on Meta Day (with the +50% premium chance), it would at least be a premium legendary instead of legendary Power Bottoms.

This sounds like an excellent addition to the game. Though everyday sounds too frequent for a tournament-type event, so maybe make it a weekly event?

Why not a day when we have 50% of chance more of getting premium items from the premium Packs?
Make it +50% premium chance for any legendary card and I'm in.

How to GOAT: Spend all your money on packs. Spend all your friends money on packs. Rob a bank and spend that money on packs. You have taken the first step. Move to the next town, find bank, rob bank, buy packs. Repeat 48 more times. Congratz you now can sometimes make rank 3.
That's.. Uh.. How you whale in SuperMechs.

just gona throw this out there........ it's very blocky
Eh, that's just the usual style that my items have. However, there's some depth to the item, it's just that the lack of color doesn't show that (i.e. That side arrow + square part protruding outward while the two squares with the two arrows are in the "center layer" of the weapon).
That, and you should see what my previous items looked like if you think this one looks blocky lol.

It's been a while since I last did a custom sprite and definitely a while since I last had some sort of idea for what I could create. After so long of having no new ideas and creativity mood spikes, I've finally got the feeling to get creative and make yet another sprite. This is the result:
Note: I enlarged the sprite, so the resolution became sort of iffy.
I haven't painted it nor have I named it because I wanted to see how others viewed the item's design before I moved on to that part of the sprite designing. In this form, the design is easier to edit given how all parts are the same color but it removes all depth that the sprite is meant to have, so things will look like they're on a similar layer as one another when they're really not. Just know that with this sprite, there's a lot of different layers, so the whole thing isn't just one straight layout with many lines on it.
For what the sprite is, well, it's a long-range chaingun. It was originally going to be a kind of side-arm recoil cannon that would fire a single shell that would do the same recoil effect as a recoiler.. But then I decided to do something different with the cannon's barrel. With several changes and additions, I made the cannon design into a chaingun design that doesn't look like an everyday Annihilation or Spartan Carnage.
I'm unsure of if it should be top-mount or side-arm, energy-costing or energy-free, but if one thing's for sure, it's that this sprite is a long-range chaingun that isn't a Last Resort Vulcan.
Let me know what you guys think about the sprite and/or the sprite's function down in the comments, the feedback will help me through developing it further. I may or may not even do a few variations of the sprite if there's enough of a desire for that to be seen.
But with that said, that's all I got for this topic. Thanks for taking the time to swing by.

Tournament was hosted by El Metre, not by TS. First one was some months after reloaded happened, or if speak more specific after first balance patch of reloaded. Tournament not got a light in last years simply because El Metre left game long ago and even before he left there was a lot of troubles with tournament itself, like arena shop buffs and etc.
Thanks for the heads up and correction. I didn't mean for the topic to sound like TS was the host of the event. I didn't know who hosted the event, so I avoided (or at least tried to avoid) using specification by saying it was "an event within the SM community during the TS Era". Though it does kinda sound like I was saying TS was responsible for the tournament, now that I'm looking at it.
I'm not sure about if I should edit the topic to specify the host now that I know about that or hope that the individuals who read this topic also read the comments and find this, but the information is appreciated, nonetheless.

I was told that they were banned due to a build that someone showcased, which featured 2 Fractured Basalt Dissolvers and a FireFly drone.

epic lvl 1 module allow???
Any common, rare, and level 1 epic item is allowed (except for Heat Bomb, EMP, any of the armor breakers, Electrolyte, FireFly, and anything that's physical unless it's a hook or charge engine).
Common and rare items can be upgraded and/or max level but epic items have to be level 1, regardless of what those epic items are.

This is the reason why I don't play SuperMechs via Puffin (a post-Flash flash game player site, if you don't know about what it is). Ignoring the lag issues and frequent server disconnection errors that Puffin has, I get an ad per every like 3-4th battle and it's always the Smokey one.
As a small note, I always have my ad blocker enabled and it's been successful with blocking ads on Chrome, so it should block SM's in-game ads that Puffin pulls up.. Except it doesn't. For some reason, the ads still show up even when my ad blocker's set to actively block ads on any site I enter. But here's a small kicker, the ads persist even if I'm in another tab.
In Mobile SM, on the other hand, I only get a single ad after my first battle after logging in but once that ad's over, the rest of the session's ad-free until I close the game, only leaving the reward ads as the source of in-game ads. Though I gotta admit.. Free token ads are inconsistent with their limit and refresh times. I don't know why but there's been times where I was able to watch up to 8 ads until the game stopped me while there's been others where I only got to watch 3. In both cases, I haven't watched ads before I did those ad binge watches.
For the refresh time, it's either 2-3 days or 1-2 weeks of waiting until they become available, regardless of how many ads I watched before the limit was hit. The game also registers ads that I've watched on alt accounts and counts them as ads watched on all of my accounts, and yes, the limit and refresh time are shared across all of my accounts as well.
So.. Uh.. Yep, the ad system is kinda broken but hey, inconsistencies gonna be inconsistencies, no matter how inconsistent they can be.
