Stefix5000 got a reaction from Scarlet Lorv in The dream mechs
probably just a regular dual phys shottie build like this one, or a reckoning+burning shower one

Stefix5000 got a reaction from Marija in Poetry competition!
Beneath the ground he roams
A knight in iron clad,
Of all the quests he's seen so far
This one was rather rad.
Around him naught but dark
His trusty torch he holds,
He's seen no foes before him yet
His spirit he upholds.
Before long now he stands
At a fissure immense,
Out of which a drake emerges
The battle will commence.
Dodging death with each strike
The wise knight holds his breath,
For he knows if his strike ain't true
It would sure mean his death.
The drake with its long neck
And each slow bite implies,
A weak-point in its bulwark skin
Had caused the drake's demise.
A single well-placed slash
The knight showed no malice,
Yet for his quest he took its head
All hailed his name, Alex!

Well, looks like I got my time zones wrong I thought I had another hour.
I guess I might aswell post my poem anyway.Â
Â
Glasgow's gray became my armourÂ
like a shot of whiskey, it burns yet warms.Â
a painful lover, a duplicitous charmer Â
she held me with her cold, pale arms.
buckfast bottles, booze-glazed eyesÂ
Glasgow empties where most she fills.
part-robbed bikes and cloud-fluffed skies
Tennents lager cans were her daffodils.
by jester's fate out from September dewÂ
like startled cats, there I met you.
Time stood still and watched, amused,Â
as we sang Temptation and jumped on que.
For turning ripe, I stand accusedÂ
As green turned red, I never knewÂ
what sweetness came from thoughts thereof -
born again - I learned to love.
I always was a child transfixedÂ
on the tempting warmth of forbidden fire
reaching out I felt that heatÂ
suddenly, burned by my desire.Â
Even still I sometimes ponder
what secrets hide behind that dangerÂ
and yet, a fool! there is no wonderÂ
why I was left to hide in sleepless nights.
As a prisoner who held the key,Â
time closed my wounds, and I set myself free
just as the weary earth is struck by death,Â
still a hardy green sprout will grow a-new.
a scar reminds us - we draw breath yet,
the battered muscle strengthens too.Â
I treasure still those joy-full memoriesÂ
where we melted into cup-full bliss.
Rugby, New Order, ribena cocktailsÂ
a friendly face replaced a kiss.
Like weathered oak, my roots now stronger
faithfully we both grow older.
Now I know in some way new
you have loved me, and I've loved you.
Â
Hey guys,
I did a reading of all the poetry and included some personal commentary. with the help of @Stefix5000Â I have been able to upload this as a youtube video:Â
the video is quite long in total but there are timestamps for each part in the pinned comment so you can watch it in parts and pick up where you left off at another point.
hope you guys enjoy itÂ

Stefix5000 got a reaction from OKI DOKI in i need help farming in super mechs(give tips how to improve my mechs on campaign for grinding)
insane is best, of course, but it's okay if you do lower difficulties
as a matter of fact, it could be possible that overlord's den 6 on normal difficulty only could have the same fortune box chance as overlords den 8, however I can't say this with certainty as I haven't researched it sufficiently enough

Stefix5000 got a reaction from Clan Red in i need help farming in super mechs(give tips how to improve my mechs on campaign for grinding)
1v1 overlord's den 6 is the best mission for experience points
1v1 overlords den 8 is the third best mission for gold and the best mission for fortune boxes
3v3 the dry lands 5 is the second best mission for gold
3v3 silent waters special mission 3 is the very best mission for gold and titan tickets
od6 is entirely heat enemies, so there's no need for energy stats on the mech you use to grind it
od8 is mostly heat enemies with one physical boss enemy, so again, no need for energy stats
tdl5 is entirely energy mechs, so there's no need for heat stats
sw sm3 is also entirely energy mechs, so there's no need for heat stats
(all of these will require some opposing stats, e.g. if you use an energy mech on od6 or od8 you will need some energy to not drain yourself; if you use a physical or heat mech on tdl5 or sw sm3 you will need a sizeable amount of heat stats to not overheat yourself to death)
hope I helped

Stefix5000 reacted to Raul in Is the nightmare torso actually good?
Really good question.
Nightmare is the most mathematically efficient torso, more so than even the premium torsos, the low weight is perfect for mechs with heavy weapon combos, allows you for lots of variety, however, generally speaking Windigo is the best non-premium torso alongside Naga, the stats and weight are on point for most builds.
TL;DR: Use Windigo, Until you get vests.
