Increased max level cap to 300, with added end-game rewards at every level past 250. Things like extra inventory slots, team slots, tokens, gold, and an item of choice as the level 300 reward.
Doesn't sound too difficult to implement from a developer standpoint, and offers all players a great incentive to grind and continue playing the game every day. 

There have been some gold portals lately that have not shown boxes but have dropped boxes 🤷‍♂️

Oh come on! You gotta understand that the devs can't always give a box that has an extremely high chance of giving legendary items.

I've always labeled counters as any mech designed to beat two types with no attention paid to the third type. This usually manifests itself as phys mechs with 249/77 energy stats.

I guess in a way it counters the user because it loses you respect in arena? Just stick to rounded mechs, folks. It's the highest expression of skill achievable in this p2w skinner box. 

there were already offers of forteress around april / may but it was 2000 tokens ( those which recently went up 3000 tokens ) so maybe there will still be forteress sales but at 4000 tokens .

No because hard counters are built specifically to counter balanced builds.

Also known as a “hard counter” if you think a regular build is an all around counter…

A counter is any mech that goes all out into defenses for 1 or 2 types of damage instead of being able to win against all 3. These types of mechs are characterized by instantly quitting if you happen to be using the one damage type they are not countering as they will always lose against it.

Not necessarily. You are trading your electric resistance for the ability to use your weapons even when drained. That being said, any mech whose majority of weapons use energy and lacks any energy modules is a counter.

Well, not by the definition we use. Some mechs can have a split in wins if you execute the battle multiple times from different starting positions, accounting for RNG etc. A mech that can consistently defeat another mech is considered a counter to that mech.

I think the rewards are more than fair already. Gato was very generous when it comes to tournament rewards. Even if there were more rewards than for top 3 only I think the amount of participants wouldn't change much. If they really wanted to earn some tokens they would join the tournament because I doubt they would miss a chance like this. Not only that but we will also give some packs to random participants so if that isn't great already, then I don't know what is 😄
Also, this tournament is purely about having fun! Rewards here are just a bonus.
We had more people interested than I originally expected, around 70 players registered (some were disqualified), but I hope that number increases for future tournaments! If any of you have any feedbacks make sure to leave them in the comments 🙂

This is a very first tournament we are doing on the new forum and with the new team, so it is also kind of testing the water and seeing how the community responds, what do they like or not and etc. There will be more tournaments in the future and we have already learnt a great deal from this one, so Im looking forward to improving the future ones 😄 Feedback is very appreciated, we are doing these for the community anyway so we'd like you to be happy to participate and have fun as well.
