So far, I've only seen 2 or 3 successful scammers that use mind games to gain the trust of their targets.
Other than that, it's been the usual begging for people that want to "give me tokens". I usually reply with a mirror of what they asked.

You have low rank mech builds right now. The more you up them, you will change your mind later on.  When you get to rank 5-1, you will see that most low rank weapons hardly survive in that rank. The high rank weapons are those that start at legendary and end at mythical. There are a few Mid/high rank weapons that start at epic.  Later on, you will understand the difference.
 
Another thing is that those weapons help you get to better ranks.
