I hope you all enjoyed our first GOAT tournament on the new forum! It was a bit different than the usual tournaments and I believe it was successful. It was a lot of work to do it but Im very glad I did, people have seem to enjoyed it :)) 
Of course do let me know your impressions, what can be improved, what was good etc. Its all going to be a lesson for the next tournaments 🙂

The accounts wont be distributed immediately after, there is a lot of people who applied and making the accounts lasts time, I will try to be as fast as possible but I am still only human :))

I noticed some topics on forum that are focused on writing, words game and similar so I thought some of you might be interested into taking this to a new level - Poetry Competition! I'm someone who likes and used to write poetry myself, so this is also for my own pleasure 😄 
If you are interested in participating, here are the things to know! 
➡️  We wont have any sort of applying for the competition, simply posting the poems in this thread is ''applying''. You can of course say its for the competition etc. 
 ➡️ The competition will last 7 days, closing on the next Monday ( 28th February ) at 10am CET. For that time, you are allowed to post, edit, change your poems or even quit if you wish. But after Monday 10am, there is no more changes, we will consider the poem your final post. 
 ➡️ The rules are very simple:
Follow the forum rules on basic common decency while writing A poem can be about anything, full artistic freedom is given (That means literally anything, it doesnt need to be SuperMechs)  A poem shouldnt be shorter than a couple lines or longer than 20 lines ( Have in mind someone has to read many poems probably 😄 )   ➡️ For the rewards part, I decided not to make it a large reward as this is more about the art and not the reward itself. Plus I'm taking into consideration the past experience in competitions :))  So the rewards will be symbolic:
 Place gets a forum badge for winning the poetry competition and 300 tokens Place gets 200 tokens Place gets 100 tokens  ➡️ After the competition is closed, we will take some time to read everything through and decide the winners. While deciding the winners, we will take into consideration stuff like the creativity, choice of words, the overall look and etc. I will also check the reactions to the poems, ask my team members for their opinions as well since luckily, some of them like poetry! I will post the results in this thread. 
If you have any questions, do ask them here, please try not to clog the thread obviously. 
I wish you good luck and happy writing! I hope we will all enjoy this and have fun writing or reading. Who knows, maybe even discover a new talent we didnt know we had 🙂 🍀

I disagree with few of the builds submitted, but you also sound like you have no idea what are you talking about.
One submitted with 2x DAA is literally the best version of it. People use heat legs on most of the mechs to increase heat resistance. Also, I don't see any problem with teleport? Whats the problem with it lol
Why would you even want more cap on double valiant mech? They are cheap to use plus the mech has over 400 regen. Even if the opponent uses OEMP first turn, you can still fire those valiants. Teleport is literally a must in this kind of build. It can happen that you are stuck in a corner where you can only use piercing fox, of course you would want to get away lol. It's also good for teleport hammer combo.
Edit: You call few of the mechs that top 10 players used counters but you also submit this and say it's not a counter, like what???

You are literally incorrect. The whole point of heat legs on mechs that are not heat is to add more resistance for heat so you take less damage from heat mechs INCLUDING huggers. All you need to do is shutdown + mercy and let the drone do the job. If you spawn at range 1 against a hugger you are dead 80% of the times anyways. Hope that your drone and mercy do good damage.
Just because mech is physical doesn't mean you need to use all the items that are in the same element (in this case legs). If you really knew about meta as you say, you would know this already. 
I don't remember players being able to pull out a drone and do OEMP first turn? I thought we only had one action point, hmm... 🤔

I doubt anyone will even read my post to its full extent, let alone that it will be implemented 😅
You need tele on double Valiant to abuse their hook, otherwise, you can never get them out of a corner, tried and tested.
