One question, on December 31 (New Year's Eve) there will be no event ?, and on January 1 (New Year) there will be nothing in case there is no event on 31 (

usually what people do is ask "Will there be a New Year's event?", not "Will there not be a New Year's event?"

also, the community can't really give you a guaranteed answer, only the developers know.

I'll go ahead and count on there being an event this New Year's.
