How about a weapon that can attack on all ranges but the damage depends on the range? Like it deals 300 damage up close but 100 from far for example. Lmk if it would fit the game. I think that need to increase attack and make different mechanic: Attack increases not from close range only, from far too, in mid range it gonna get 30-100 damage.
