As poeple have said before, don't use your misfortune to make a reason to not like base, infact you can just watch ads to get extra card which has chance of EPIC and you don't even need to craft rares to get these ads, if you need an item just farm od8, I've gotten premiums out if those fortune boxes it's a pain but one well worth the effort

3 reasons - (a) it's a perk from a portal, so if you've been around long enough to be higher ranks, you'll probably have picked up a pumpkin torso or two; (b) it hides the torso you have, so in the pre-fight selection phase in Arena, the opposition can't see your torso or your stats and so has to guess a bit more before selecting (although they can work out a lot from your weapons); and (c) it looks grooveh.
 
Should be an Easter egg, or better still an Easter bunny head, as a perk for Easter.

I have several Grim Cobras, dropped from fortune boxes gained farming OD8.  It's not a problem, just the luck of the draw.  Keep at it, you#ll suddenly find you have enough GCs that you start fusing them.  

I'd say upgrade all weapons on second mech to legendary, then start upgrading your first mech's modules.  You can progress pretty well with a weak third mech for a while.

Premium pack costs 335 in the shop, so 15 of them, if you were profligate enough to buy them "retail", would cost you 5,025 tokens.  So that's a pretty good deal if you like to try your luck.  Not such a good deal if your luck sucks the big one and you keep getting nothing but purple poops and Kraken torsos, but hey.

I suppose it's OK for a newbie who wants the basis of a solid heat mech, taking a punt on what drops in the boxes for weapons, mods and specials.  Not for me.

This is not an existential crisis.  It's a computer game. that may or may not be as much fun to play as it used to be back in the good ol' days.  There is a difference.
 
 

i played battledawn for a few weeks a while back. it's graphics are not nearly as good as SM and the newbie/intro guide is kinda confusing tbh. took me about 2 hours to figure out how everything worked. the only thing i understood from the intro guide was that tokens were blue. 
i quit after a few weeks since it got too jumbled up in my brain... and shortly after that, i lost my password so i never really went back to it. 

They do Battledawn and Earth Arena, apparently.  Anyone played either and feel qualified to comment?

sad to know so many young kids feeling so old as my age. I feel like a kid. 🤣

my advice is just plain and simple, play the game and progress the account as free or pay. I can see top players making new free accounts and are back on top already as free. 🤣If you do not farm then do not complain. I keep progressing because I grind not because some items acquired. Use base, grind, get f.b. grinding and level up acc as fast you can.

And terible spelin.  Not to mention punctuation.  Its amazing how people cant use apostrophe's correctly.

My experience suggests rare at 50%, epic at 40%, but legendary at about 10%, maybe a little less, seems about right, and 0% for common agreed too.  Common just doesn't happen - I've had it once across my main and alt, for hundreds of FBs.
