First all begin it in on paper, that more faster and is more easily editable, after if the art is successful i digitize it, that how i make the art :

1 - Got a idea .

2 - Draw it on paper, edit it if necessary .

3 - When the art seems good digitize it .

4 - Add color, details, shading . | Finish

then it depends on the people but it seems essential to me to better succeed in your arts
