Charts: How Dependent Some Weapons Are On RNG

BLUF: Here's a chart of how much damage range (max - min damage), or basically how RNG-dependent, certain weapons and drones are.  Data is beautiful.

LONG STORY: Basically if you subtract min damage from max damage, you get the range of damage.  The higher the range, the more RNG dependent the weapon, because you're hoping when you use it that you get lucky and "roll high" on RNG for more damage.

This is just a fun post that gives a visual indication of what items are more RNG-dependent than other weapons.  I'm not saying, for example, that you should stop using Selfish Guardian.  I'm just showing in a visual way which weapons are more "reliable" in a statistical way (i.e. less RNG-dependent).

Me, a Rock Polisher user:

But hey, I guess I'm slightly lucky because of how Mercy is slight more RNG-dependent.

Not enough to make me forgive Rock for its 250 damage hits but close enough for me to accept those hits as reality.

If you fail and don't succeed at something, you simply haven't failed enough. Through failures, one can pave a path to eventual success.
