Base isn't actually bad though, suffer the few early months and lives the rest of the later days having a reliable never ending self-generating resource, that and the fact that having the ability to craft kits that don't clog up your inventory is also a blessing.

ok but the same amount I spend on silverboxes is equally less than the amount of time and money an old player or person with base takes to level it up. I just wanna see people give up on this base stuff and let us choose the same way we choose whether a mech can freaking BREATH FOR GODS SAKES, ITS  A USELESS FEATURE

Well, I'm hotz (hotlinesword), I was a legacy player from 2014 and played till roughly 2017-2018? I can't say I'll be too active on the forums, simply like to check on the game that I played since I was 12.
Don't know what else to say besides I can be quite blunt and I'm not afraid to critique the game despite the nostalgia I have for it.
 
anddd that's it. Just felt like an introduction was required at this point as I check on the forums every couple weeks-months.

Im gonna start doing these since my heat mech is a monster when it comes to weak cooling.

This guy was pretty confident he was gonna win by spamming gg. But the moment he started to overheat i siphoned all of his cooling down to singular digits and made him cool himself off all the way before i finally bashed his mech to pieces with my hammer.
 
...it took over 10 minutes before i put him out

To my knowledge, these players are abusing a bug that allows them to “choose” to match with an account that’s controlled by them, allowing them to farm wins (insta-quits don’t show up in replays iirc). I’ve probably missed something or described this poorly, so if anyone is more educated, feel free to correct me.

Your answer is correct yea. Sometimes it bugs to my knowledge, but that's very rare.
Most of the times when you see top players without, or with a few replays they boosted their way up like Coddiwomple described.

In the least when you defeat a level on insane mode you should het something more than two crappy common items. You get that playing the easy level.

Fortune boxes shouldn't have Common and Rare items, A guaranteed epic would've be a bare minimum instead of gaining a next to useless common or rare that someone probably has too many of, as a player i am NOT feeling very rewarded by the fortune boxes... the rng keeps kicking me in the "🔩" over and over again... making my progress or what before was a crawl to a absolutely dragging experience.
• Improve Fortune boxes so that they're more rewarding instead of a rng mess, troll mechanic.

People need to quit making excuses for the smurfing. It's BS and needs to stop. There is no legitimate excuse for it other than those players are lazy and can't compete at a higher level. Why should a noob thank a smurf for holding them down that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Quit being dicks. That's all there is to it.
