It's a different idea, however I think I prefer the normal battle menu.

Hey, I recommend that you do it a little more in the style of super mechs, so it would fit more

I think sole concept is great, but I would like to see more "metal" version since this is machine battles

I like this clock like font for names tho, it would be cool if used for hp points etc

What's really neat about this is that it reminds of the old official Main Menu, stylistically. Really cool, though square menus are a bit more practical space wise.
