I cannot understand how their players / community can be so less worth for them ❗
It is not like, that it would cost them $ 10,- / player to give each player a few (or at least one) free "Ester Egg"-Packs ❗
If I would be the responsible Dev /Admin for, I would give each player minimum 5 Packs for free - cos - WHY not ❓
(before I would ban all cheated accounts of course)

P.S.: What do you think, how much money they make each month from the honest players at the moment ... 5000,- ... up to 20.000,- ❓
(at the peak from SuperMechs tacticsoft made a LOT more, otherwise it would have not been possible to have a dev team from more than 5 people )

Is Gato Games secretly ran by the underwear gnomes? It would appear they are using the same business model. Phase 1 = Buy SuperMechs. Phase 2 = ?. Phase 3 = profit. 
 
This would explain not having any strategy between buying the game and collecting profit. Exhibit A Below is the underwear gnomes business model.
