  1. Spam is Satan 100% Confirmed. He is not literally Satan. If you believed that he was Satan, you might need to rethink things for a quick second.
  2. Through the void in the grassfield
  3. I seriously do not know why I'm getting backfire premiums from fortune boxes. If anything, I'm blaming RNG for this because Ramboy wasn't involved this time.
  4. To be honest, I don't really know. I didn't get legendaries or epics for a whole month then suddenly this started happening. It's either a pity system or the game thinks that I don't have enough legendaries for an average level 207 (now 208) player.
  5. And everyone believed that fairytales with ironic endings were bad
  6. And I know that I said Frantic Brute in that list of heat weapons but it's a physical weapon seen a lot in arena as a whole, so I didn't involve it while the 4 mentioned heat weapons die off during the traversal between midranks and highranks without the assistance of a premium weapon. However, all that they needed as assistance for the portal, as a bare minimum, was 2 Heat Bombs, E-M heat weapons that appear a lot in arena overall when it comes to heat builds.
  7. What do you mean by "18 Heat Bombs"? It's been repeated in this topic that you need at least 2 Heat Bombs to get through Insane. If it really did require 18 heat bombs, there wouldn't be that many mentions of "2 Heat Bombs". Sure, some of the people in this topic have used OHB with Heat Bombs but that's their choice to go with that. Any portal is doable without premiums as long as you have the proper strategies in mind and the weapons for the build you've come up with. As for what you just said about premium weapons, people have literally showed builds that had Corrupt Light, Flaminator, Frantic Brute, Supreme Cannon, and Dawnblaze. Those 4 heat weapons that I mentioned aren't exactly popular in the top ranks but they managed to work here. How is that along with the whole idea of a portal being doable without the likes of premium weapons "completely wrong bs"? Besides, hasn't Insane always been geared towards higher-ranked players rather than the mid-ranked? Higher rewards for higher effort?
  8. Full Fuel Tank FB Grind #1: Overlord's Den 6 on Normal Grind Details: Start Fuel - 83/83 Refills - 1 (1 Level Up, 0 Purchased) Fortune Boxes: 3 (0 Common, 1 Rare, 0 Epic, 2 Legendary) End Fuel - 2/83 Total Runs - (83 - 27/5) + (83 - 2/5) = Good Enough Estimate 11 + 16 = 27 27 OD-6 Normal runs overall. (I won't include this math part in future grind results. Just the run estimate.) Legendary Drops: Fortune Box #1 - Flame Battery Armor Fortune Box #2 - Overcharged Rocket Battery Extra Notes: - Take passive fuel regeneration during runs into account if the amount of runs are more than what my fuel capacity (83 fuel) is capable of. Also, my fuel regeneration arena buff is at level 4 (-7% on regen time for each fuel unit), which will affect how quickly fuel regenerates while each run is in progress. That passive fuel regen is also affected by +100% fuel regeneration events, so I'll add a note for grinds that occur on regen days so that people won't get confused. - I may potentially take breaks during these grinds or stop the grind prematurely, so don't be alarmed by an increase of run potential during some grinds that don't occur on fuel regen days. - No, I don't buy fuel refills. I mainly use my tokens for buying premium boxes since my luck mostly resides with them more than it does with packs.. Literally, it does. - These extra notes won't be as plentiful on future grinds since these are just ones to explain a few things, so you might want to read these specific ones if you love reading long lists of notes because this might be the last time that the notes are likely going to be this plentiful. - Overlord's Den 6 on Normal has fortune box drop chances. They're lower chances than any boss node but they're definitely chances. Each run is only 5 fuel, so there's a lot of run potential, too. The only thing that you would need to worry about is the adaptability abilities of the enemies.. They can increase/decrease in overall power based on the mech that you use to do the mission, either its overall power or its HP. All I can really say is that my heat mech (2.6k HP) and my physical mech (2.3k HP) have to deal with 270 damage Ironbarks while my energy mech (1.5k HP) only has to deal with 150 damage Ironbarks. - I will only update the thread with details of the current grind after I finish said grind. I'll also provide screenshots upon request since I take screenshots of nearly every legendary drop that I get, regardless of box type.. But I'll only do fortune box legendary drop screenshot showings here upon request because, well, this is a fortune box grinding progress thread. - I update grind results as I do the grind, so the results will most likely be accurate once I'm done and I only mention the legendary drops since that's the focus of this fortune box grind. Also, who would be impressed by an epic Blue Madness or a rare Anubis? - I leveled up to 208 when my fuel reached 27, hence why 27 is in the run estimate calculation and why the calculation has 2 segments.
  9. Hello, everyone. Whiteout here. I've been getting questions recently as to where I farm or how I get lucky since time that my dual premium fortune box streak occurred a day or two ago (it's in Flex Thread, by the way), which gave me an idea. I made this thread as a way to post my fortune box drop results and keep track of how many fortune boxes I get per each full fuel tank grind. That way, it'll give people a general idea of how my daily grinding for fortune boxes is like. That, and I suffer from "eternal boredom" so this is an excuse for me to do something that's remotely productive. Also, yes, I'll try my best to keep this thread as updated as possible.. If it doesn't end up on the 5th page of the topic history by the time I get my first fortune box, that is. But yeah, this is just a small thing I wanted to do because of boredom and the questions about fortune box grinding in general. That's all I have to say, really, so I'll just end the topic here. I'm not the best at ending topics with closings so please refrain from judging me. That would be appreciated.
  10. Did.. You consider the fact that Insane is called Insane for a reason? Actually- Did you even consider the names of the difficulties to begin with? If you take one good look at the difficulties, they strangely seem to resemble the difficulties of the 3 main campaigns and the colors of the basic portal enemies match those of the basic campaign enemies of the same difficulty. The events are open to literally everyone and will give out prizes to everyone but they have to work for it exactly like they have to work for things like gold, XP, fortune boxes, and arena win gold boxes in campaign. It gives out rewards but it only gives them out to those who are able to overcome the challenge. There's no problem or favoritism going on here, there's only a fair system that's been used since the very first introduction of campaign. Can't complete a difficulty? Just get stronger. That's it. As for the "VIP favoritism", that has nothing to do with the game, really. It has something to do with the people who spend their way into getting what they want from the game's drop rate system that everyone uses. Sure, there's the $50 USD deals and the 4k token deals but those are accessible to everyone, not just people like CleverName. I know how it feels like to grind a whole lot just to get stuck in one place since I'm a F2P and I even get frustrated due to it but hell, I'm willing to acknowledge the fact that the system is geared to give everyone the same experience and opportunities. It all comes down to how us, the players, use that system. We can do things without spending a single cent or spend thousands upon thousands of dollars for those premiums that are at the top of the META but that won't change anything about the system itself. Unless, of course, you want to do things another way.. We could have a game that's easy to beat with no challenge or strategy whatsoever and have a game that loses our interests upon minutes of starting a playthrough. It wouldn't have ads, it wouldn't have deals, it wouldn't have boxes, it wouldn't have weapon RNG, it would just have you and a bunch of enemies that don't bother with doing anything. It would be an open experience that's available for everyone and is beatable by everyone.. But who's to say that anyone would be interested in that when there's nothing to be interested in? See where I'm getting at? This game has things like RNG, difficulties, events, deals, arena battles, titan battles, raids, clans, and premium items but never has there once been something that restricted a specific group of people from purchasing something or playing a certain mode because of the amount of money that they spent or the lack thereof. To call SuperMechs "VIP favored" is like saying that War Robots is actually friendly towards F2P players.. Because it's not. It doesn't let F2P players have the chances to use powerful items like it does with its P2W players. It gives its P2W players all of the most powerful mechs, weapons, and cosmetics all on a silver platter while letting their F2P players rot away as they have to grind endlessly to get anywhere near to getting one of those things. But in SuperMechs, everyone has the same chance to get a premium item or a deal. Hell, I have a rank 15 alt that has 4 Platinum Vests (2 Molten and 2 Lightning) and an Overload Preventor and it's just level 85 but I haven't spent a single cent on it, just like my level 207; rank 9-7 main that has 3 monkes, Overcharged Rocket Battery, Burning Shower, Sparked Runners, Rusty Heat Blaster, Falcon, Spinefall, Desert Snake, Cockpit Electrocuter, Electrocuted Scope, Quad Core Booster, and so on. I'm simply a F2P and yet I have an inventory like that. Ironic for someone who's playing in a "VIP favored" system, eh? So if you're just gonna throw baseless accusations, start pointless rants, or attack people who simply want to help you see the good that this game has, it's likely for the best that you keep those opinions in your head because while everyone is entitled to having opinions, it's definitely not alright to go ahead and force those opinions onto other people so that you could have a small moment to feel like you're superior because of how you "exposed" the way of how literally any mobile game works nowadays, if not less forgiving than what SuperMechs has to offer. Sure, there's some games with more forgiving systems but those games are of a more finished state while SuperMechs is a game that is still growing, even if it started back in '13. Anyways, I'ma end this post here. I think I posted enough of a tirade for a topic of this sort. Apologies in advance for anyone who's gotten a headache from reading this post.
  11. Now that you mention it.. Tactisoft's portals were almost exactly like these portals in terms of difficulty but the rewards were far less substantial due to less tokens per difficulty. To say that this event was ruined is like saying that a Black Friday that doesn't have any violence for once isn't Black Friday. In basic terms, this event was improved greatly by the token reward increases but the difficulty balances that increase to make the rewards good yet makes it so that the player has to work for them and not just beat a few bots and get 220 tokens like it's free candy.
  12. Have you actually tried to farm OD-6 for fortune boxes before?
  13. Because Conon knows what that tastes like
  14. Teleportation feed don't exist. The "teleportation feet" in question was Magma Barrier, a set of 3 walking legs that the Devouring Paws were based off of.
  15. Which is why I used Massive Lava Feet to max them. And yes, my Devouring Paws are divined. Maximum efficiency. And by the way, Devouring Paws have good stomp damage, elemental damage, and they're lightweight, so I'm still gonna be using them. They would have to be lightweight, too, since no HP legs were always lightweight. That would also cause problems since lightweight legs = teleporting monkes and vests.
  16. Base Disabling isn't available anymore because Alexander is focusing on buffing base and doing game fixes right now. The Silver Box era is slowly coming to a close and my attempt of trying to upgrade base is boring as hell.
  17. Teleporting feet would've been overpowered since they could just be paired with the already existing dual teleport that was around. Not to mention the dual grapples and the dual charges too.
  18. Magma Barrier was 3 walking, no jump. And the only downgrade that Devouring Paws received was the removal of 3 walking in place of 1 walk, 2 jump.
