The people who applied and posted their tournament builds (??), I ask to remove those mechs or whatever that is, and read the rules if they want to participate.
Keep it at single application only, if you want to add something or edit, do it in the original application - I will see it because it shows me every single update you make, there is no need to apply 10 times.
 
 
 

I noticed the smerf problem when I came back around 2-3 years ago? might have been longer, When I wanted to start up again completely from scratch as I had A. Lost the passwords to my legacy accounts or B. lost the emails to said accounts.

It was awful then and kinda saddens me it's gotten as bad as it is now, It just discourages newbies from actually playing and getting good at the game with out paying massive amounts of money on this game. Hell I'd argue some  of the stuff you can buy in the shop with real money  can be way too OP for new players to beat.

It's not just a matter of "well the newbies should try harder/ grind more" most people have to pay bills and insurance fees or are in school, therefor cannot pay out to get the expensive gear and even then 'paying out' doesn't make you understand the game or how to actually use that gear like grinding will. 

then what about grinding? for a newbie to grind with out any monetary help AT ALL it would take them months to get out of r20-r15 alone with the smerfs. I have to agree with most of the posts here, that there SHOULD be a system put in place to make it so the match ups are based on your stats, not just rank. It's killing this game because those who pay will get power hungry then bored and those who dont just get frustrated and quit. 

Guys please stop asking me and sending me messages asking if your application has been accepted. Its a forum form with literally two things to write in the two possible boxes: Your ID and nickname. Is it that hard? xD Chosing any is fine, just write the ID which is the more important one. 
Next, the tokens or packs for participating or anything similar will NOT be given out. I've learned my lesson in the first tournament on the forum so thats no longer an option. 
Please dont overthink the application, its really super simple and thats all you need to do in order to participate, besides following the rules obviously. 
The account details I will just post in the comments of your application like I said, and I will say here when I start doing so - which is when the application time is done. 
 

This is correct, until the player that lowers their rank to farm easy wins.  In the Arena, clans are rewarded for the number of wins they receive (example: 200 combined clan wins gets every clan member 10 tokens)  This is the true definition of a game exploit.  Furthermore, a clan rank is determined by the overall rank of all of its clan members.  This is used to match clans up within WARS.  Tanking ones rank will move the overall clan ranking down so they can have an easier match in a WAR, therefore gaining easy wins and WAR win which gives out rewards.
So, this behavior does violate TOS rules: 2.2, 2.2.1 and 2.2.2   I would suggest reporting these players.  You can do so through the game settings (gear icon top right of screen -> Support)  The more reports of these actions the greater chance this issue can be fixed.

I don't exactly remember his first mech, but it was very overpowered, (had like 4 divine weapons and the rest of his build was completely myth maxed)
 
He wanted to be a cocky little shit and use his second mech.
 
Little did he know he was going against a Boiler.
 
Have fun cooling down with 902 heat, which can only be substracted by 2 in 30 second intervals 
 
This guy had it coming and it never felt so good to do this to anyone else.
 
Just so you know, a turn is 30 seconds. I didn't even give him the courtesy of using my turns, instead I went afk while he boiled alive. I even did the math to figure out how long it would take him to actually be able to recover and attack back.
 
30 times 902 is 27060 seconds.
 
27060 seconds equates to 451 minutes
 
451 minutes equates to 8 hours.
 
And I have nothing to do all day, so I could've sat there all damn day if I had to. But he eventually gave up and quit. (Normally im not this much of an asshole in ladder, but if I catch a sandbagger lacking, you know i'm going to do everything in my power to make that person's life a living hell. For the sake of all the weaker mechs being bullied because of this stupid Sangbagger genocide)

Since this tournament is new, I ask of you to please carefully read the rules and Important parts so we avoid any confusion, rule breaking or endless questions that are already answered in this topic.
Important:
You will all receive a brand new, special account which will have a certain level, boxes and other stuff needed for the purpose of the tournament. You do not use your own accounts. The account will be banned after the tournament. Please do not attempt to share your passwords, trade or anything similar. 
You can participate ONLY ONCE in the tournament. Meaning you cannot make multiple accounts or applications. One person – one participation.
Application and account distribution, as well as posting your mechs will be done on this link: https://community.supermechs.com/knowledgebase/ebt-mech-submission/  , it takes you to a forum form where you can apply for participating in the tournament by filling in the form. The form will be open for 7 days. 
IN THAT FORM YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS. I will announce when the distribution begins, you can then just check your form for the account details. No players can see your submission. 
You will have a week to make and test a mech and when you are ready, post the final mech in the same form you created when signing up. After the mech posting time is done, you can no longer edit the mech. Your mech in battle must match the one you submitted in the form. 
The rules 
From the title, you can already see this tournament is going to be all about energy mechs.
Make a mech using items up to a level 1 epic or below. All weapons, torsos, legs and specials must be energy type. You cannot use two weapons that are the same! Modules can be energy, physical or heat.  The next items are forbidden in the tournament: EMP, The tournament is a usual knock-out structure, you will be assigned a pair who you will fight and the winner moves to the next round. You have about 48h to do your battle, it's up to you and your pair to schedule it. 
Please post the replays in the thread with other details like who fought etc, so we can make sure everything is okay.
The rewards 
1st place – 2500 tokens
2nd place – 1500 tokens
3rd place – 1000 tokens 
4th place – 500 tokens

I agree, there should be more incentive to beat 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 in hard and insane.  like, another reward box of power kits.

wow 15 and lower. ridiculous. Even when I test at R7 is full of them. 🤣 They kill my mechs and push me down fast with full top gears. I only can eat a taco 🌮 and drink a beer 🍻 watching getting killed.
