in my opinion,you should save up tokens for token deals like 1k,2k,3k and 4k deals.It is much more worth it and has guaranteed stuff.Oh also only buy token deals that give many stuff and not just fuel with packages.

I've been playing this game for about 4 months now and still have no idea if premium packs have better drop chances of legendaries (especially L- M items)
 
 

Premium means an item tate starts from legendary tier to mythical tier L-M for short
and is highly rare and great however not every legendary is great but always keep 1 of them

simplified version:
a drop only legendary to divine. disclaimer(cant be gotten epic)

What does the premium thingy mean on some items in workshop? i was wondering because i was seeing some heat mechs and saw a lot of them used molten platinum vest, i wanted to know what premium meant so i can know how to get it

Do the campaign! I believe heat weapons are best for campaign. Always do raid. Massive feet are best legs of any color. Focus on upgrading torso and legs first. Then modules. Make sure torso will upgrade to mythical. Max out the gold mines in base before upgrading factories. Focus on maxing one item at a time. Get five arena wins a day and use arena coins to max HP first. Save up tokens and buy only the 2k token deal or quad core or overload protected deals for 3k
 
Should be enough to get you started. Oh and always have fun! 

Try passively upgrade your base as you get passive gold and can craft better items down the track,
for starting i suggest either using Physical or Energy items and weapons as they are stronger when starting them game, (Personally i use energy)
if you get any items that are "Legendary to mythical" knowing as L-m items dont fuse them away for transforming as L-m items are very rare
also in terms of upgrading when starting out never fuse away epics or legendry's to upgrade items unless your using them for transformations 

Hmm, 25 mil, a hefty cost for a lovely reward, would be a fun feature for those willing to pay the toll

R.I.P logic : Well yes there should be a L-M rollers (heat type) we have energy and physical type rollers so why not heat? (Feels sad because im a heat type 😔  )
