It can have around 850 or a bit more but the account will notify you when you are around 810 or 820 that you are getting maxed to have them and will have to consume. I had more than 850 in the past. yes, all depend on the build design. Even some drones can be less effective in raw power, they are better than the best in matter of design with parts available. If will look at raw power, then Selfish Guardian but that power comes with a price tag of consuming HP, but it is a drone that work at any range. Solar torch can be the second best limited on range but not HP consumption. Like STAR mentioned, it is about design how effective will work the drone in use.

Normally everyone will tell you something different. Some basic will be Torso, leg and drone if you have all close to L40. Drone it is important because normally is less powerful on damage and at Legend status still really weak. Your torso will be a good option now. Hold back on top and side weapon for a few. The reason is that maybe during the transformation for leg, torso and drone, you might get other weapons that might capture your attention for better design. Making too many parts can drain your assets and hard to recover. You maybe should show your inventory and they can tell you better.

Looking at it, your first mech does have a blind spot at range 2 limiting the attacks. For that case better use legs but will lose a lot of HP. In your second mech, is covering basic on range but will have some difficulties due to parts in use. The pizza cutter and the drone are HP eaters and consume too much having mechs with lower HP plus using a torso even provide good HP but does not possess resistance making the mech very vulnerable to any kind of attack. Always try to build a mech strong enough to balance fights. Having 2 mechs with too many difficulties is harder. You need to focus to make the strongest possible then the remaining parts goes to the second. Do not waste making parts for a 3er mech and making many parts. If you are not a heavy grinder, that will be a real problem to save gold and to get mix parts to level up your weapons in use.
