The problem is, I can’t build an effective heat build with windigo or molten platinum vest because they are too heavy for my mech. If that’s the case should I keep nightmare?

Bro ,you can go a long way with a nightmare…

But I prefer Windigo or even better Molten platinum vest .

Definitely keep nightmare, It's great, Also Zarkares is not a very good torso, Not to mention it's heavy

Nightmare, every day of the week.  Divine it (only needs common relics) and it can work very well.  I've made rank 5 with a Nightmare in my lead mech.
