You ve misunderstood. In order to create an application you had to click on "new build". There's no other option to access the application. You didn't have to post a build.

If you applied correctly by opening the application, clicking on "add new build" , typing your forum nickname on the title and ID on text, you should be fine. Marija is not supposed to navigate through all applications and look for a certain participant's to see if its valid.

My opponent is nowhere to be seen so far either. I ve also noticed that they haven't played any battle yet. Haven't seen them posting or being mentioned in any post since the 1st round pairs were published.

The reason why there is a 48h time limit to do the battle is because majority of players will do theirs within the first 24h, and then they wait around, bored, the chances are higher they will give up or just forget about the tournament. Its also why I shortened the application time, and probably should shorten the mech building time.
I dont mind waiting a week for someone to do their battle, my job stays the same no matter, but is it fair to others who are doing their stuff on time or even before time? Would it be ''fun'' to drag this tournament for weeks, even months until we get everyone to do their part..
Im really open to suggestions and modifications of times and stuff, but we also must apply some logic to these. I completely understand its not the most fair thing to just write someone off, but if we drag and ask and wait around every single person, whats the point of this xD Tournaments are a privilege for players, and they are optional. You dont have to participate if you dont want to, I also dont have to make them if I dont want to, we all have our free will and ability to choose. But Im also not going to let anyone's time be disrespected, including my own. No one is entitled to a reward or participation, we all need to understand this, therefore we either participate or not, make time for it or not.
Im going to wait 3 more hours, (this is already beyond 60 hours since pairs have been posted + its been weekend), after that if we dont have the winning person of the pair, either those who reached out are winners or in case they cant set a time, coin flip will do the honor of deciding a winner. If majority of participants doesnt agree to this of course we can wait for people to do their battle, do speak up. Or if anyone has a better suggestion, do speak up.
I agree to making the one who reached out first the winner. However I don't agree to randomly selecting a winner when the case is pairs that have been trying to fight each other but don't get to due to different schedules, timezones etc. I believe this should only be applied if the pair has exceeded a time limit of like twice the normal time limit (so 4 days) or something.
A week of waiting for each round to start might indeed bother other players. However I don't think the majority will mind waiting for around 4 days in total when participants have trouble competing. I think its an understandable situation. If there's proof that a participant has been ignoring the tournament things can be different. However if it seems like both have been struggling to find the right time to battle, I think it won't harm anyone to wait a little longer.

I am a busy person in real life, and it is really hard for me to compete on tournaments.
I personally want to give my thanks to @Marija, @Pavke, @Alexander and the participant community in the recent tournament bringing something back from the old community and I think it is something nice to see and read about your fun making this possible with of course the difficulty that brings the making.
Sadly, I saw few comments of unhappiness for different reasons. According to what I was able to read and see, the tournament was great. As baseline, the organizers came with some ideas for us the community and I want to thank to Alex, Pavke and Marija because takes time and effort to make this possible and for Pavke and Marija not participants and not getting something out of this. They made this possible to us to have fun and in the side maybe a luck prize for the opportunity as community to have some extra fun in the game.
They were clear from a starting point; it is experimental thing and from this first tournament in this new forum and with our imputes in particular for those participants, next tournament can be improving a bit. It is a learning process.
Been clear from start, nothing will be perfect, and they cannot come up with a solution to please everyone. In the end, in the real life not everyone can be pleased reason we have governments to have basics.
Even I was not a participant, I see this as a positive thing for everyone in the game and should not under any circumstances be so negative or offensive or better say having selfish "not the weapon" attitude.
Be thankful for this opportunity and remember that the tournament sucess it does not depend only on the organizer but to those participants attitudes and sharing ideas for future improvements not to attack the tournament or organizers.
I can do this if the administration @Alexander agreed including @Pavke and @Marija.
I do not know if is possible, but I would like to help a bit not as organizer but for the next tournament and the recent one.
I am willing to give away 25 premium packs deleted from my OKI DOKI account and be granted at list to 25 former participants. I let Marija to decide how will be.
For the next tournament maybe in 3 months or 4 months just saying, I am willing to give 15k tokens and 50 premium boxes out of my account OKI DOKI. @Alexander, I can provide my ID and take those out and use them this week those 25 premium packs and take those tokens and premium boxes now away as future prize apart of the game prize.
Ladies and gentlemen, I play this game for fun to improve my account not to compete but for the fun to farm and see my progress leveling up a part little by little as my threads show. I really will like a healthy community and see more people around having fun as I do with you.
I am not a good contributor but at list I like to have fun with you guys.
This is a picture so @Marija and @Alexander can decrement those from my account and share those 25 premia and to have some for the next one. I give the authorization. Total to decrement premium boxes are 75 and 15k tokens.
To be clear, take 25 premium boxes for recent tournament and give them away, for next tournament 50 boxes and 15k tokens.
Just have fun and enjoy luck with those 25 packs and for the future a bit more for other participants down the line. I let Marija to decide what to do. I won't be involved on decisions or any insolvent on the tournament.

Its great that you are so positive about the tournaments and willing to encourage more players to participate. However i don't think its possible to transfer packs and tokens from an account to several other players. Sadly I don't think system works that way

It was an honour to compete with everyone in the tournament. I really enjoy these forum tournaments. Competing here is different from what we players are used to doing in the game. Personally my participation in all forum tournaments always remains as a memorable in-game experience.
I would like to thank @Pavke @Marija and everyone else who contributed to the organisation of this event. I strongly support the continuation of such tournaments. I really appreciated getting the chance to participate as not did i only have fun but I also managed to walk away with a significant amount of tokens as prize, which will undoubtedly boost my progress in the game, especially since i am not very active due to studying.
Now about my victory...I will be honest here, There were actually other players too who had the potential to reach the position i reached. My opponent in the final , @ahmadBX was competing in a forum tournament for the first time and he made it that far, -with non maxed arena buffs i will add- . I ve made it to the finals in previous tournaments but its the first time i walk away as a winner. I ve tasted defeat quite a few times before succeeding. No round can be considered easy, not even the first one. I ve lost in the first round too before.
As its already been announced there will be more forum tournaments with desirable rewards where every player will be able to participate and have the chance to be among the winners despite of rank.
In my opinion these forum tournaments are totally worth it and I would like to invite everyone who didn't take part in this one, as well as those who participated and didn't make it as far as they wanted. Believe it or not even some of those who lost in the first round had the potential to make it a lot deeper, and even the top 3.
Im looking forward to competing with you all in future tournaments, and I would also like to invite more players to join next time. Thanks to all of you participants for making this tournament such an enjoyable Supermechs experience. I hope the feeling is mutual.

neither did i have all the items to build the best version of my mech, like better torsos and lighter top weapons (bc i had fused my epics a few months ago). The fact that you made it to top 4 without the mech you wanted means you are indeed a formidable opponent

5. It depends on your mech type but I would say those heat torsos (monkey, windi , nightmare and vest) can fit every mech. i would rate your choice with 7/10
Note: I may be level 160 but i can kick azz in arena. So for all those who think being high level is a criterion about whether you are a strong player or not, you are wrong. (don't take cheaters who are low level with meta stuff as an example)
