    How much have you spent?

    I’m sure this will not be a popular thread but whatever! how much have you spent on SM? How far has it got you?

     

    I have spent ~$250usd. Most of it back in 2012 before weight limits or item upgrades. Back then the only way to obtain premium items was with cash and I was a top 10 player. 
     

    after reload I have spent about $60 of that $250 on $20 deals like plate, op, quad and even a yellow monkey with backstabbing drone🤷‍♂️. 
     

    I am only a r5-3 player who has hit r1 twice 1v1 season with a ton of luck. I do place position 60-150 in raid.
     

    I have also played about an hour a day every day for the last three years and attribute most of my success to that. However without those cash deals my raid and certainly arena rank wouldn’t be as good. 
     

    After reload I got something like 500 premium boxes and a good deal of gold. But I did stop playing for over two years to protest… lol jokes on me because I came back 🤣. Played maybe an hour or two a week until I picked up in 2019

    Free inventory slots. You can build up 4000 items in base! 

    also you can build power kits on demand. It’s a pretty cool feature. 

    do we know the offset in upgrade cost when there isn’t always power kits to use? Haven’t had silver boxes since base so I’m not sure if they provide enough power kits to always use? 
     

    as for chance of legy. I like the food it produces . Only significant drops for me have been burning shower x2. Have gotten a ton of vest from it but already had those. I feel the garbage drops are a time saver over producing levy’s from scratch but have not considered the time it takes me to make that gold🤔

    So smerfs suck… but… don’t they have to forfeit or genuinely lose to remain in the same rank range? So if you smerf at r15 after winning 10 fights you have to either lose 10 to get back to r15 or at least win one then lose one?
     

    In other words I think a smerf has to lose just as many fights as they win to remain in the smerf rank?

    or has the issue become that there are 10 smerfs for every one legitimate r15 player and legitimate r15 players simply can’t win because the smerfs only lose against other smerfs to remain in the smerf rank?

    Oh let’s talk weapons. How does a physical scope at a 19kg have a potential damage of 1k at range 8 but the shotgun at 87kg only has potential of 500 damage at range 1-2?

    87/3 to account for turns= 29kg. 500d/29kg = 17damage per kg

    1000d/19kg = 52 damage per kg

    factor in deminishing energy across the range delta of six and the physics just don’t add up. 

     

    Now consider the m590a1 combat shotgun at 3.5kg vs the M28 sniper rifle at 15kg…. The shotgun is grossly over weight….
