ok so, when base first came out I was highly skeptical, and as such I never activated it. but I'm curious about the potential to get more free premium and legendary items. how does it work? do you get to chose a category of item? do you get to specifically craft a premium or is it up to chance? how do you handle fusing the items once you get them without the ability to buy silver boxes? does base give you fuse kits aswell? for those who have activated base: do you feel like you are getting more or less or the same amount of free goodies as before? is fusion more difficult or still easily managable? I'll put up a poll, but it would be nice if anyone could answer my questions directly. currently leaning towards enabling it, for the simple fact it allows me a channel between gold and premiums which simply doesn't exist without base - allbeit a seemingly long and frustrating channel, but a channel nonetheless. so my inclination is it is not worth it if you spend a lot of money in the game, but is worth it if you spend very infrequently, or not at all. before I enable I'm gonna wait and see if I hear any glaring problems with it, and try and set myself up so that I can breeze through the adaptation period.

At the highest levels you would have to spend well over $1000 a year, or cheat. There is no alternative way of acquiring every new premium in the quantity required. I’m not even kidding.

If you prefixed it to start close, short range mechs get a massive advantage. Prefix it to start far, long range mechs gain a huge advantage. the start is random for the very purpose of increasing variability in builds

You should be proud you came so close. there are many like this who will gloat at scraping a win by 100 hp even when it’s embarrassing for them to have got anywhere near that close to losing. One day you’ll finally win and it will feel sooo good. another great feeling: when the opponent ggs early to mock you then you beat him unexpectedly. Das rite! in any case don’t take it to seriously. To be clear: the other 4 cards will still be up to chance, the guaranteed legendary refers only to 1 out of 5 cards to ensure you atleast get SOMETHING

I think the thing which makes us modest spenders feel “cheated” and swear of spending anything for long periods of forever, is those horrible moments, where you spent 20 bucks or so on 5 premium packs. You open up that first pack, probably in anticipation of a new item and... 5 purples. okay, yuck. Try again. purples. Great. And another. *shakes dice, opens pack* a legendary nemo drone. Okay, getting better. Try again. purples. you know what I’m talking about. We all know. Some more than others. In fact I remember the day rising spent over 60 bucks on 6.5k tokens, opened packs and got ONLY PURPLES. yes, it’s possible. rare, sure. But should it even be possible that you can spend over 20 quid on a game and get NOTHING of value. If you went to Game picked out a new game and brought it home, opened the box and found a little note which said “sorry, try again next time! But here, have some Pokemon trading cards” You’d be livid. So why do we accept it here? now, I’m not saying a guaranteed l-m in every pack, but I think 1 of 5 cards should be guaranteed legendary level in the least with the other 4 determined by the mysterious drop rate as usual. this would restore a lot of the confidence lost (or beaten out of us) in the past years. When you’re buying premium packs, you shouldn’t have those moments where it all comes up purple. It just shouldn’t happen. can I get an amen?

I spent a little over 5800 and got 1 lol the drop gods have always hated me... anyways I predict this thing will bring heat back on par with phys.. if not a little higher. set ups like gorgon's will become very OP with these things instead of standard drainers. and the heat axe + red rain mechs will accomodate them very comfortably... plus a new better drone? oh boy theyre gonna be lethal. anyways enjoy it wep, its a beauty!

I was actually thinking something similar but along the lines of breaking a myth a part in order to get 5 transform relics. A lot of people have old myths they don’t want or use anymore now gathering dust. It ain’t worth fusing then directly because of just how much fuse power is lost. But if I could break some of my old nightfalls into 5 transform relics that would be quite handy.

this baby is working out pretty good for me. Been a while since a has been like me has been able to play with the big boys lmao (tongue-in-cheek). might even buy more toks to get a second. Dropped 2.9k and got mostly purples (ah that all familiar frustration, how I missed thee) and non l-ms junk yellows. But I dunno. I’m feeling hot now. also don’t expect to stay this high lol. I imagine you’ll see a lot of heat axe + sword + swoop drones + double basalt disolvers become the new hot mech in the coming weeks. sooth say the soothsayer. but yeah. Grab it if you can. well I got it to myth. looks pretty good. 180 backfire aint cheap but +15 drain and only 8 weight its pretty solid.
