Bans always happen for a reason. 
So far there have been thousands of banned accounts and none were false. This means that if you got banned, you probably did something that you weren't supposed to! 
If you'd want to play play again, make a new account and play legitimately. Hope this helps! 

I usually range between rank 12-9, depends on who i go up against, been playing SM since legacy but have taken many breaks. I try to average at least 100 wins per week because the rewards are helpful to everyone.
This is where i'm at right now, my rank did drop since i made changes to my main setups. (I do plan to change my username soon, I know its a cringe 7 year ago username)

If you're signing in with a new (or even old) device, you should see the login button at the bottom right where you can select facebook login. If the problem is: The game has you signed in on a newbie account, you should be able to log out from the menu and log back in via the first step.

Maintenance means they're either updating or fixing something on their end, I doubt the devs are actually dead, because maintenance isn't something that usually happens automatically. If the game had actually died, it would say "can not connect to server"

No its all random, don't bother trying to get info from the game as it hasn't even had a security patch in years, let alone an update.

Avenger isnt all that bad, I use it whenever i face the overwhelming number of energy spammers at rank 10

i've done 24 hour speed-runs to see if i can max myth 1 item while still having a fully functional mech, its definitely interesting
