Battledawn 2...?

So, the company that made Supermechs (forgot the name) is working on a new game: Battledawn 2.

I have a question: what is Battledawn (besides a game), how popular is it, and, do you think it was the best choice to work on it (Battledawn 2) instead of updating their already-made games?

Just curious on what people think.

The game totally failed and says one player per day this year. Gato games the new owners paid real developers to create it. Gato has since disappeared since the failure of the game

They (Gato Games) should make a singleplayer game.
