Should I enable base ?

Guys I have seen so many players enabled base and have good mechs. I head that some people regretted enabling the base and wish to disable it to have silver box again and now I am confused to enable it or to keep the silver box . I opened a new account to try base and I didn't really like it it takes days to upgrade weapons and houres to get enough weapons while it takes me seconds to boost weapons I can easily upgrade weapons from epic to legendary to get mythicals. should I keep the silver boxes or not ?

enable base, you get more gold and you can upgrade the base so you can get power unit kits and even legendaries (though those are expensive)
