Sadly that's not a feature in the game. All weapons that have the "damaged" or "broken" prefix simply do backfire in form of HP but it sure is an interesting idea.

sadly, i don't have any physical res drainers.... which gives me quite a headache seeing people around me using them.

Not even the epic ones? It's much easier to get them than it used to be when there was just one legendary variant.
