What it is the focus in this mech as general if will evaluate for combat?
If you look and think properly thinking in just combat capability if were made for combat and just player option to play, it will be a resistance destructor-based mech.
Let's go by part. Looks the resistance damage weapons.
If you see carefully, it is a mech made for resistance damage in order that the heat weapon damage can penetrate faster and break the mech with damage amplification in that area making the opponent massive damage if no careful.
It is a mech focus that can sustain some combat and hit hard with play hard with it.
So, when we build, we build looking for the main characteristic of combinations weapons in a direction. A second mech, might complement the first mech or been a different type to balance attacks possibilities or go hard core with 2 of the same so damage will keep going in the same way or lose because having the same kind.
Now, let's focus on the torso used.
Because it is a test mech creating limitations on purpose, I used an EFA torso.
As you can see, it is a free energy torso. That means, it is a torso that will not sustain weapons requiring energy to work.
If you see the mech side weapons stats, you will notice that those weapons require energy to work. Because the energy won't be available to make it work properly, it will be a mech that can suffer for energy attacks disabling the mech weapons really fast.
What do I mean?
I mean, because no energy and regen from the torso itself, it will require modules to provide energy and regen and that can create weight issues. In this case, I had to compensate that area for the current test and will little by little change but current set up it is a mech that can be disable using energy and will be hard to recover to use side weapons.
Many players make this kind of mistakes. They use this torso when need to use a windigo or nightmare in not having a molten or energy version as examples.
Let see resistance
In the picture above, it does show the 3 resistances with same numbers at 89. That means, my set up sustain all equally been part of the torso itself characteristic.
It is different for the heat condition because it does sustain heat capability to sustain heat basics.
If a player will use a torso, better use different that provide energy base to sustain weapons.
Example of better set is the picture below. Have better energy and regen, better heat and cooling, less weight, resistance are not even but close to the previous one on heat and energy and better in physical but lose some HP because the other is better in HP grant but with those stats, will win more fights in normal conditions generally speaking and can allow modifications having more weight to spare.
The EFA mech is more a mech to be use as physical or heat mech for combat using weapons that do not require energy.
