It is real [ although these people probably wouldn't stick around for long ].

Yeah. I believe the box was linked here last year, but this year it was distributed entirely within the game.

no, last year's hat and snowball was in a prem pack.... and you had to spend 335 tokens on it. ....... or at least that's how i got it.

If you look at the 3rd post in the News section, titled "Merry Christmas," Alexander mentions a notification for the box and a link for the snowball perk, both free.

It was 1 year ago, this past Christmas the snowball was in the portal and the box was distributed in game.
