Newbie here, need help in progressing

Hello guys im a newbie and need help in progressing. Im currently stuck at lost valley so im just grinding the hell out of frozen abyss. 

Here's my inventory. What do guys think should i equip/upgrade.

Also i have 691 tokens, should i buy two premium packs on the shop since I don't have that much gear or save my tokens? Any tips for beginners? Like what should i grind and do?

Just starting, you are doing a good job. 

Torso and leg are good choice. 

About side weapons and top weapons, not having good parts around, used what can get as you do right now. 

About modules in use for energy and heat, good job there and with shield.  There is not much to say for now. 

I can see a module that can be change. Change the gray and use the blue edged one RARE part

Get the best parts for your primary mech as you are doing now. Do not split good parts to make a second mech. Focus to develop those parts for now if nothing else.

Ok, let's go for basic. I have a bit of time now to help.

First again, good job on your ways as new player. 

I will talk a bit of basic and choices. One thing to understand is that the game is based on grinding for gold and lucky parts grants like casino luck. 

Advice: 

1- Do not rush to eat every part to level up others

2- Save parts all the time to have enough on reserves 

    a- There are daily events that will require to have 75 or 100 on reserve to be able to complete and it is hard to get 75-100 parts farming in a day even for high farmers like me.  

3- Do not eat EPICS parts just because rushing.

     a- Many epics parts will become top parts and some others remain like EPICS but important to save them to build up 3 basic mechs and join low ranks for low relics and practice. 

4- Do not rush in to SPEND TOKENS. 

      a- Save them for offers with guaranteed parts normally 3k offers. Sure, can get gamble offers like the 2k and be lucky or get a bunch of EPICS that will help you move forward with parts that will rank up your level.

5- Try to complete Quest Achievements because those provide TOKENS and will help to progress. Check them.

 

6- Play Raid. Starting now will be hard to win but try as you advance to get first pass per season. Will grant tokens. 

7- Fight arena 7 days a week 5 wins. 

     a- 3 wins will complete the daily providing 10 tokens and silver coins 

     b- 5 win will complete the daily for 10 tokens but will get more silver tokens

8- Use of silver tokens in ARENA. Go to ARENA area and instead of fight go to SHOP

    a- The shop area, it is the place where you can enhance the account itself to make your mech more powerful apart of the basic power as natural come parts. It will help on protections and do faster things etc. Every item has a purpose, and players will progress them according to their style of game. Hard to give direction but I can give   my own direction as I build my own preference based on my style. Do not follow my style, follow yours. My style if for true grinders mind set guys which are just few around. 

   b- The reason of the 7 days 5 wins, it is based into collect silver coins to progress the account power. When players are in the low ranks, the grants of silver coins are lower than a mid-ranker making the silver coin collection progress very slow and painful.

          c- As mentioned, I am a true grinder. When I started my focus was the basic to push as hard how often I was able to make parts farming. In order to do that, I needed fuel as fast can get and increase the basic game cap grant. That allowed me to push fast my progress and advance in rank faster than others. 

            d- The next step or will say together until some levels of progress, I advanced the one with the +350. That area will actually increase the natural HP of the mech. Let say if your mech natural HP maxed it is 1000, then you can get 1350 HP if maxed that area. 

            e- Heat/Phys/Ener attributes enhancements can be level up all together controlling the use of coin until some level. You can do let say L4 and advance all of them at that level using properly the coins. Passing L4, the cost of use coins will increase too much and will be harder to advance. 

 

9- Building up the BASE

    a- The HQ can be advanced until the 4 mines are available. Don't go beyond that point. There is no need until you have a ton of gold to use.

   b- Do not enhance FACTORIES beyond L2. The cost is too heavy to make parts and you need the gold to enhance weapons in a cost effective with natural farming. Many will tell to L15 but that is when you really can save gold enough.

  c- Gold mines can be enhanced to L20. The cost for level up mines is less than the others and will grant gold 100k per 24hrs when maxed. There are some enhancements in the shop area to make this faster, but I will think                     properly before investing at early stage

    

 

10- To understand what good or bad part to progress can be, it is important to understand the parts stats. 

         a- Gray circle mean it is a COMMON part the lowest STAT in a part grant. 

         b- Blue it is RARE item 

         C- Purple it is EPIC item

         D- Gold it is Legendary item 

         E- Orange it is Mythical

         F- White it is a Mhytical part at level 50 and with particular relics for the weapon it was divined meaning it is DIVINE the higher possible weapon status full MAX. 

  11- Knowing there are Transform range, weapons etc, can start in a particular status and progress until max. Not all parts start identical or can achieve the max Divine status reason why it is important to understand selecting parts to advance them. 

          Examples 

a- Nightmare. It is a torso that actually it is granted as COMMON part and or RARE part. 

 or 

 The part it is now MYTH at Level 50 represented in the circles 

The part can be granted as COMMON and the player can enhance the weapon reaching DIVINE status at some point. Thos parts are parts to use in the game in the short or long run. 

Sure, not every part will be good but can help to progress to some ranks. This part it is not a premium part, but it is decent enough to use at low and top rank making the item accessible to all players for free but also fast to get farming at any day making the part one of the best in the game but also easy to get.

 

b- This leg does not reach DIVINE status making the part useless in the long run. Can be granted as COMMON or RARE. We call this meat parts. 

  

c- This part it is one of the best parts in the game. Weapon start as EPIC harder to get as free player but targeted to free players. The red one can be the best in the game as you have yours now in use. 

d- This is an item belong to the PREMIUM category because start as Legend and no other lower stat. Sure can be granted in lucky moments like in fortune boxes and portals or premium boxes free grants or else. 

  e- Any Myth grant it is an offer part altered already as MYTH not granted in premium packs or free grant, just offers. 

12- Ok, basic parts to use in the game not having any epic grant or any good one 

Iron boot probably the first leg granted when start the game. You can use that and ma. That it is my first leg in the game. Now, you have already a good one so use that and itis a part to fully max. In the long run will have to be replace with the leg you have and their kin. 

Nightmare. If no other, use this always to start and can be max out. Not a loss investment. Can be best for heat and phys mech types. Less for energy but can be used to progress if go for energy. Not the best but a jump start till get heat and phys weapons for better use

WINDIGO as best free choice for many. If you have one, then max. As Nightmare, it is best for phys and heat mechs types but also can go for some energy for the moment. A good torso to reach top. Not a waste and targeted for free players. It comes as EPIC reason it is harder to get which I recommend to no lose time and get a Nightmare to move forward if no WINDIGO around. 

 Naga is my first torso maxed. No regrets. Great for energy mech heat and phys. Come as EPIC. Can be good to start energy mech with this as one of the best choices for it. If no other or chose Syth, is best to use the first 2 mentioned. 

 Grimreaper was a great energy torso but always low HP. In the game current environment, it is a hard to use to win. Few people still use around but lost the constant use when the new modules were introduced. Sure, can be good for energy enhancement been limited on modules. In the long run will be not a good investment. 

Corrupt it is one of the basic buildings mech to move on ranks and easy to get as free player. Come as rare or epic. Can be used to make basic heat mech. Investment it is ok but won't be great at top. Ok to R10 as basic but useful to move on. 

As corrupt, Malice it is one of the basic parts for basic mech to build and move up. This part comes as RARE and EPIC and it is a great weapon in the short or long run been in use at top play. Easy to get in the rare status farming. 

 

There are few more like Drones etc but it is hard to tell because will be according to what can build when start and the changes will be often per week. 

So, basic builds will look like this if can without drone that can be obtained not having good parts around. I said basic and all the parts are basic to get and move up. It is an incomplete mech, but those parts are to get maxed if chose for energy or heat. Modules will have to be enhanced according to what it is around. 

 

13- Building will be different for everyone generally speaking based in lucky grants. Some will progress faster than others. Do not focus on them or rush as mentioned above. Think before eating parts. Do not rush because some others are moving faster.  

14- Preserving parts and farming all the time, will help to make legends for myth or legends for the progress.

The tutorial looks fun but like you said, not much explanation. I never watched a video of this game etc until my family member wanted me to play with him. He is an old player from release time and never showed me how to play. He says, figure out and that will be the fun.  So, I decided to think on my normal way as I play games from childhood back in the early 70's. I applied the basic of all basic's games, farm to level up.  So, focus on what will enhance best the account and play basic until can pass to the next stage. 

Every game I played; I became powerful no exceptions. No rush.
