About these "trolls", they're called smurfs. Smurfs are people in the range of Rank 15 to Rank 17 (R15 - R17) that rinses out thousands of wins daily to get hundreds and hundreds of tokens in a single day - with - as you mentioned, weak torso and legs but equipped with fully maxed out weapons (Rock recoiler and dual Frantic Brute). To avoid these smurfs, you gotta go above R15, which can be hard, but is pretty rewarding once you get past them.
About having too much mythics, try to even it out as much as possible, those smurfs are only gonna appear if your health is considerably low, but yes, you're also gonna fight other mechs that have mythics too, so it's always one of these situations. There are some times where smurfs aren't actually online and you can actually get to R15 without them in the arena lobby. Just check leaderboard - click/press on online players - look through if there's a lot or just a single smurf active. If there's only about 4, you have a chance of encountering normal enemies.
About 3v3, that thing is gonna be hard either way, at the start, you'll fight legendaries, but nearing the end, you'll fight mythics, which yes can be a little tough if your mechs aren't fully balanced yet. The bosses aren't exactly easy either, with the last one (HELLGATE) having dual magma blasts.

    Hi everyone!
This topic will be especially for newbs, Teaching them how to improve their mech. You can ask anything here. 🙂
    1. Do not build 2nd and 3rd Mechs.
I've seen a lot of new players building 2nd and 3rd Mechs before even reaching R20. This is obviously not good if you don't have a good 1st mech. It's recommended to focus on your main mech until you reach the rank that unlocks 2v2 fights (Only if you can hold that rank...)
    2. Do not waste tokens.
New players buy a Premium Box everytime their tokens go over 75. They think they are lucky enough to pack legendaries everytime they open one. it's better to save up those those tokens for offers like the 15 Premium packs for 2k tokens, normally you'll only get like 6 for 2,010 tokens (That's already increasing the budget..)
    3. Grind as much as you can.
Try to grind OD6 (Overlord's Den: Mission no.6) as much as you can...It's the best mission to level up as fast as possible. If your mech is a bit strong, then try out OD1 mission (Hard) as it's the same but gives out 3k more EXP and the mechs are bit stronger.
    4. Ask High Rank players.
If you have a doubt about anything..(Upgrading, transforming, missions etc, then ask out. They will help you out, Especially @OKI DOKI because he is an absolute king at teaching New players.) If possible show your mech set-up for more help about your mech.
    5. Try to join a good clan.
If you are a newbie then joining a good clan will help out a ton. From giving out Ascension relics, getting rewards for arena wins (Tokens, Power kits.) to getting Titan Tokens which can help you buy Premium Packs or Power kits.
    6. Try to destroy every Structure.
Destroying structures give you a couple hundred gold for each one. 1500 for 10 structures! Plus, destroying structures quest comes, "Destroy 75 structures for 100 tokens!"
    7. Try to be good at arena battles.
Arena wins gives you the ability to claim the gold box below every boss you beat. It gives out gold, power kits and even Legendary Transform relics!
    8. Use better items.
Newbies tend to use Brutality, Armours and other weak torsos and legs. Use better stuff like Vests, Monke, Windigo or NightMare (Very easy to obtain because it's rarity starts from common.) which is a good torso for newbies and try to use the legs from the Massive family.
    9. Do not buy paint.
New players unnecessarily buy paint. Don't buy it (Unless you got stacks' of cash), this thing has been told a lot by many Top Ranks. You are beautiful the way you are, don't let that stupid paint ruin it.
    10. Try to use arena coins.
Arena coins are good for improving everything in SM. From Extra gold in campaign to extra damage to Titans, It has it all. (Also try to purchase fortune boxes chance from the arena store, It will give you one every 10-20 Mix boxes.)
    11. Use strategies.
Super Mechs is a strategical game. There's no point of having a good Mech when you don't have skills. Try to use tactics and strategies while in arena or against bosses.
    12. Try Hard and Insane modes.
When you think your mech is strong, try out hard and insane modes because they give out more rewards than normal mode. Plus they give a lot of tokens for first win.
    13. Try to use Premium account. (Horrible if you start getting myths...)
Premium account Is cheap and it gives out a lot. Extra HP in campaign, extra gold and arena coins, Extra exp etc. Useful for grinding and leveling up.
    14. Try to complete quests.
Complete the daily and achievements quest because they give a lot of tokens, also complete raids for extra tokens and a bit of extra fun!
    15. Don't use multiple elements.
At last, don't mix up heat, energy and physical in the same mech, go for like a heat build, energy build or even a physical build. You can't fully utilise your mech if you use them all, please understand.
Hope you follow this and Good luck! 🍀

Normally, that kind of set up as illustrated, are players abusing players with less luck on power at lower ranks. They do that to get wins and collect rewards abusing.
This weapon calls it Frantic , it is a powerful gamble weapon that can kill easy opponents at any rank or can provide a low output and lose fast.  The issue is when it is used in low rank and in that case, it is too much power. We call them Smurf's.
We know is painful to move on, but you need to get focus into farm and advance regardless having those guys around. When I started to play the game close to 5 years ago, they were there too killing me. Just focus into farm and advance weapons. At some point, you will pass them moving in rank naturally.

That's the beginner physical build. Any beginner can make that, within a month playing. That one gets you to at-least rank 5 when fully myth. I mean modules and everything. Anyone can build it. I would say everyone has build it and used it. It helps you in finishing campaign when all weapons maxed, and some module Mythical.

JJV reacted to JamAnime in Smart Way in Upgrading (The long way) VS the wasteful upgrading way
I've believe there is a thread on this. I don't remember. Thought this would help new players. Many probably already know.
The process of upgrading takes time, in both process. The Smart way, is a little more time consuming, yet the best way. You use the right amount of resources in the smart way, rather than wasting away resources.
The Wasteful Way in upgrading: It's the simple easy way of upgrading. Just choose an item you want to upgrade, then click the MAX Select button. Simple as that. The items in that process are common and rare. You can ad epic and legendary, yet that would be wasting items you will need.
The Smart Way in upgrading: This process take more time than the wasteful way, yet better in my opinion. The Process:
    - Upgrading 3 Common Power units (CPU) kits to Power lvl 10 and one to power lvl 5
In the process of upping a CPU to 10 can either be 19 common items, 5 rare items, or mixed Upping CPU to 5, is best using 3 common items. You can use one rare item, yet you be wasting upgrade power. Do not use CPU to upgrade a CPU - Upgrading 2 rare power units (RPU) to lvl 20
Use 3 lvl 10 CPU and one lvl 5 CPU, and you will get a lvl 20 RPU. Do this twice, to make 2. Now that you have 2 RPUs, you can up one epic item using them both.
Now why do this, when it's easier and faster to do it the wasteful way. Simple answer, you are wasting away resources.
Now lets break it down math wise:
Maxing Epic items just using 2 RPUs. To max a RPU you will be using 3 lvl 10 and 1 lvl 5 CPUs for maxing a RPU that equals to 35,900. To maxed a lvl 20 rare kit requires 35,822. In total, just using common items, that is 60 common items, or 15 Rare and 3 common items, that is 18 items in total. Now you need 2 RPUs to max an epic item that goes to Mythical. The thing is two RPUs equals 100k power boost, yet in reality you only need about 85,800 power to max an epic item. To save even more resources, you just max one RPU to lvl 20 and another to lvl 18, and use those two. I prefer using 2 maxed RPUs.
Maxing Epic item just using Common items. To max an epic, you need to reach 85800 power. Divide 85800 by 400 or 440 =195 or 214. That is the range of using Heat, energy, physical common items between 195-214 items. Common items are either 400 boost or 440 boost. Doing it the smart way, only using common items only cost 120 items. Only using lvl 20 and 18 RCUs may cost less, yet I'm not going that far into it. Now you you be saving between 75 - 94 common items
Maxing Epic item just using Rare items As mention earlier, you need to reach 85800 power. Divide 85800 / 1760 or 1936 = 1760=48.75 or 1936=44.31818. Rare items power is either 1760 or 1936.  So, you be spending between 44 to 48 rare items to max an Epic item. (I'm talking about items that go all the way to Mythical). In reality, doing it the smart way, you be spending 30 rare and 6 common items to max an epic. That might not be much difference in the rare process, yet it still saves.
Now here is where it gets crazy. Upping a legendary item maxed to transform to mythical is different. The reason is power lvl max difference in Legendary - Mythical is 248,800, when common-rare-epic-legendary-mythical item is 199,010. Now you will only need 4 RPUs, for the 199,010, and 5 for the 248,800. Now Lets do even more math, here. So in total thats is 240 common items or 60 rare and 12 common for the 199,010. For the 248,800 that's 300 common or 75 rare and 15 common. (If you are lost, lets go back. It cost 19 common items to max a CPU or 5 rare items to max the CPU. Then you will also need a lvl 5 CPU, that only cost 3 common items. Just using common, that's 60 items to max a RPU. Or the other process 15 rare and 3 common. Now do that math to Max a legendary times 4 or 5. Hope you are with me now). Now lets math out between how many common and rare items needed to max a legendary. Common 199,010/400=497.525 or 199,010/440=452.29545. So the Range of just using Common items to max a legendary is 452 - 497. That's just the 199,010, not the 248,800. You can math that out. For the rare its 199,010/1760=113.07386 or 199,010/1936=102.79. The range there is 102 - 113 rare items.
Now, you a question probably popped in your head, Should I max an EPU using RPUs? The answer is NO. Don't even bother upping those. Or LPU. Also never transform a Power Unit kit. Also, should I up using epic and legendary items? I say NO. You use them to Transform Epic and Legendary items. What about upping common and rare items? I don't bother upping common and rare items. Just CPUs and RPUs. I start upping items at epic.
In Reality, you are wasting away items doing it the wasteful way. Just to give you an idea of saving and doing it the best way. Here is an Idea in just using common items. You will be using around 647-711 common items in total to get an epic to legendary max. Doing it the smart way, you will only be using 360 common items. Getting that idea of using only common, I'm sure you understand it's the same as using rare.
A little idea of Power unit maxed
    - Maxed Common Power Unit  (CPU) = 10,000 Boost Power (BP) - Maxed Rare Power Unit          (RPU) = 50,000    (BP) - Maxed Epic Power Unit           (EPU) = 120,000  (BP) - Maxed Legendary Power Unit (LPU) = 300,000  (BP)

    Hello artists!
Welcome to the Halloween art competition! 🎃👻
Last year I did the Halloween art competition for the first time and since it was quite a successful one, I decided to repeat it this year as well!

As before, I ask of you to make your mech ready for Halloween. It can be a costume, colors, any sort of Halloween decoration and similar. Its a very free spirited competition and the main theme is Halloween, so you really have a wide range of possibilities for your mech. You can use any program as always, hand drawing is welcomed too. Not the AI though!
You can participate simply by posting the art in this thread.
Please dont post old art or steal someone else’s!

    The deadline is 28th October!

    And the rewards are next:

    1st place – 3000 tokens and a forum badge 2nd place – 2000 tokens  3rd place – 1000 tokens
I wish everyone good luck and happy Halloween month! 🎃
