I am making now a heat build with a nightmare and massive lava feet, any recommendations for anything else except torso, legs and side weapons (I struggle getting good weapons, always just legendary legs and drones). I was wondering if combined storage unit is good for general builds?

CSUs are better than what you currently have, but ideally you want 2 engines of heat and energy, alongside either armor platings, resistance, or mass boosters.

 

I also suggest you switch to dawnblaze flaminator instead of double flaminator because your regen really sucks, as well as hopefully getting a windigo as your torso instead of nightmare.

I have windigo, but it's epic and it's on my second build, and I opened a premium pack recently, I got a epic nightfall and an energy engine legendary and another CSU. Should I try a hybrid phys-heat? Or just leave nightfall for fusing?

Generally you shouldn't fuse any epic that goes up to mythical unless it's something like avenger or snack
