Its just there to do same range as frantic since it has inf range , and deals abit more dmg ,  not like tonto which have range

I would prefer using protector on a dual frantic build since u will have troubles at range 5 , without night eagle/distance shredder/mighty cannon to get in tonto range and fire it , do recoiler 🙂

Pros -
-Lightweight

-decent res drain (3 uses x 11 = 33 res)
-Starts at Epic 
- Good with recoiler/tonto/night eagle (epic items aswell)
 
Cons- 
-not as good when fighting high res without any res drainer 
- High Ene / heat required for new players

Pros -
-Very high Avg damage even with res 
 - 3-6 range 
- Decent Res drain 
-Potentially have a higher damage output than spartan carnage when it crits 
-starts as epic

-Rolllinggg low damage

Tonto-- 
Pros- 
-No BF 
-can pair up with short range items 
-starts at epic 
-deals good res drain 
-Solar torch lite.exe 
-Best items paired with (Mercy/recoiler , nightfall , night eagle

-range 2/4 could easily be abused 
 
Sacrifice Cannon --

-Hefty Damage 
-Knockback could be useful at some situations

Naga (underdog torso)
Pros 
-good ene stats 
- Highest heat stats as an ene torso 
- 10 weight ligher than windigo 
-Good for phys/ene builds 
-Starts at epic 
-good when u have good heat mods and bad ene mods 
Cons-
-falls of at high ranks due to lack of phys resis

Ye I agree naga is my favorite non-premium torso it's third best electrical torso beaten by the electrical monke and LPV, but if you got builds like mine then it is second best torso since u can easily switch from naga to LPV without a problem but if you try switching from naga to monke then you will have to get new modules and replace some heavier weapons due to huge weight and no res.
Naga works really well till rank 9-10 atleast.
